The receiving authority for this dog would have been Rugby Borough Council. They can be contacted on 01788 533533 and the dog would have been scanned by both the dog warden and the receiving pound based in Bedworth and the vets that took care of the dog. Unfortunately, we did not take this dog into rescue and so we are unable to advise further. Perhaps "Bella" who posted this doglost post could help? I am not entirely sure who Bella is :) I understand from the pound puller who saved the dog that the council paid for all of the veterinary care. He was a poorly boy for a while.

Ccould you pleaese tell me if this dog was scanned for a chip or not? And could you please tell me what happened to him as there is a slight possibility he may be mine

More than happy to donate towards this lovely boys vet bill BUT is he going to make it to a re homing centre or like many SBT will he not be given the opportunity.

Please ensure that you notify your local Dog Warden and the local Police Station - in Scotland you MUST inform your local Police Station and if possible contact the Dog Warden also.
The found dog may have a Microchip or a Tattoo - please have the dog scanned and checked for a tattoo at a vet's so that owners may be contacted as soon as possible.
