Lady has now gone home with her loving family.
Her family wish to extend a huge thanks to all of the very special and compassionate helpers who made this possible, and a huge thank you to you from us at Doglost too.

I am incredibly sorry. Nothing makes any sense when things like this happen & coming to terms with such a tragic loss feels impossible. I often think some of our fur babies are taken sooner because they are so special and looking at this sweet little girl I suspect that is true. Lady had already earnt her wings so God called her home. Animals quite often know when they have to go to heaven and I suspect she couldn't have gone if her owners were with her as it would have been too hard to leave. What I do know is that love never ends & no matter how long or short a life on earth, you will have forever, together, in heaven. Never to be apart again. God bless you sweet Lady, now safe in God's arms. God bless your owners and in time may they know peace & know you have never really left them at all. You are just a whisper away until you meet again. xxx

Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.

When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge.
There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together.
There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.

All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor; those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by.
The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.

They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. Her bright eyes are intent; Her eager body quivers. Suddenly she begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, her legs carrying her faster and faster.

You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.

Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....

Sadly there have been no other reported sightings of Lady.
Have been to the area today to search and take more posters later this week.

Thank you Jeanette- have checked the link and sadly this dog does not appear to be Lady, as Lady has recently been groomed. Possibly the dog in the link is a Llasa too xx

More sightings of Lady have been phoned through this afternoon in the Fieldway Chase area.
Thank you so much to everyone who is postering and leafleting- this is really working.
Please DO NOT CHASE Lady if seen as we really need her to stay within this area of relative safety where we can try to monitor her movements

Thank you to the Leeds dog warden team who are going out to search for Lady.
Have discussed with the person who phoned the sighting through about leaving food out for Lady. She has also alerted her neighbours who are on the look out for her and will telephone with any more information

Sighting of Lady reported in THE CROFT , Oulton. She was seen in someone's garden around 10.45 who also may have seen her yesterday at CROFT BRIDGE , Oulton.
Have spoken to the dog warden and informed her owners.
Will also inform her groomers.
Really hope for more news of her very soon

A possible sighting of lady has just been phoned through.
A dog matching her description was seen yesterday heading through someone's garden in the NORTH LANE area, possible heading down towards Calverley Road/.

Minigirl has had a text from Lady's owers who have been brought to the area to search for her today . They are overwhelmed that helpers have put up posters for them and wish us to pass on their thanks ! Big Thankyou from doglost too !

Have spoken to the dog warden who covers the area she is missing in so he is on alert for her as well.

Her owners would be very grateful if any helpers in the local area could continue to spread the word about Lady and put up any posters to increase awareness.

Lady is likely to be extremely nervous and may well be hiding in someone's garden. Local help to poster and spread the word that she is missing is much appreciated. Her owners do not live in the area she has gone missing from.
All contact numbers have been passed to them to alert the relevant authorities that she is missing.
Anyone in the local area- please look in gardens and under hedges and bushes or make contact with any sightings of her.

Lady went missing today in an unfamiliar area. There were sightings of her initially when she went missing near the Oulton Institute on Quarry Hill around lunchtime today, but none reported afterwards.
Out of hours services have been contacted and the police have been informed.
