Have an update from Bellas owners who say she is settling back gradually. She seems to be in fairly good condition considering the time she has been out there for and although she has an extremely thick coat now she doesn't appear be too thin underneath it . She has been treated for fleas , is going to be wormed and has an appointment at the vets tomorrow for a thorough check over . So delighted Bella is back with her owners and I hope she stays safe from now on xxx

Bumping Bella's page as have just phoned her owners for an update. There continues to be sightings of Bella around the area, but she has evaded being caught.

biccy- the flats are around sunnybank road, which is in between Elland rd and Halifax road.

I'm sorry I don't know where the flats are at Sunnybank? We only visit Brighouse at weekends. We were there this weekend and sailed to Ganny lock and back and had a good look about.I've mentioned Bella to Keith at the marina and he's willing to help but I ddn't see any posters this weekend? I'll keep watching and see if we can help next weekend but hopefully Bella will be back by then.

Bella has being spotted 5 or 6 times around the flats near sunnybank in brighouse over the past week everyone that has rung says she looks very active and well , which we are very pleased about as she has being gone over a week now. Every time we go we cannot seem to find her though she seems to be hiding in people's gardens and coming out at night , if any one does see her the best way to get her back is to get down to her level so she is not scared of you , I thank every one with your help and support in looking for Bella

Is there any news? I wish we had seen this before we went to our narrowboat at Brighouse this weekend. We have seen no sight of Bella. I would suggest postering in Sainsbury's and on a tree near the bench at the lock gates in the marina. There were lots of fireworks last night so she may still be hiding. If you go down to the marina this week see Keith on boat 'Marley and me' for help.

Bella went missing after being spooked on the canal yesterday. It is thought that she is either still hiding or has run up from the canal towards the A6025 area. Her owners have been searching and postering and have contacted the out of hours services.
She is microchipped and will be flagged up as missing.
have advised checking with the police for any reports.
advice given on further searching
Hoping for news of her very soon.
If found, she must be reported to the dog warden, as is required by LAW
