Although we are in Surrey its very much a commuter area for people that work in the city, so I have got Marmites (lovely) picture ready to take to the groomers with me tomorrow, when 'my girls' are trimmed. She breeds as well as grooms schnauzers, so meets lots of owners and dogs everyday. Home visits included. She will make sure all are aware of your lovely little girls 'missing status' . In my experience Schnauzer owners always talk to other Schnauzer owners, and after "how old is he/she ?"comes "and where did you get him/her ? so just maybe it could lead to something, worth a try anyway. Wish there was more I could do, very best wishes....Jan.

I have re-emailed Marmites poster to Battersea London and Brands Hatch also Mayhew Animal Home, Woodgreen-London, Foal farm. I so hope she is found soonxxx

Hi Urommel12, her ail is cropped....still no news other than idiots making crank calls. One actually gave us an address on Monday but it turned out to be a false alarm.

Your approach to kids is a good idea. Not only do they usually know what's going on, but they'll pass round the message that there's a reward for Marmite.

We still havn't had any positive news on Marmite. Someone called to report seeing a dog run around on her own near Hackeny Farm on Thursday night, and Jaime went out to do some postering. I cannot believe that this was Marmite as she is such a sweet loving animal. I firmly believe that she is with someone. Jaime has aslo now spoken to some of the local kids from the surrounding estates offering quite a hefty reward to them as they seem to know everything that's happening in the area. Jaime also went to Battersea yesterday and had a look around the kennels. Please keep looking!

Really hope she's home soon... schnauzers do have a tendancy to wonder... keep positive, our mini schnauzer Wallace was found after one week....

Janet, my guess is the City of London Corporation will not be too thrilled with flyposting and that the posters will come down overnight. I would suggest chatting up newsagents and street vendors. However, if you find a site that has already been flyposted, adding an extra one may go undetected. Thanks for your help.

Hi I work in the EC2 area right near Finsbury Square. I can put up posters if required but i can only print in black and white! I'm new to this so not sure on the protocol of putting up posters - I don't want to get in trouble for fly posting!!

Hi everyone. Thank you so much for all your support and encouraging comments & messages regarding Marmite. We had news of a sighting yesterday. She is very well known in the area where she went missing and someone had spotted her on Friday near Finsbury Square in the city of London. Any news is good news at the moment and we are desperate for her return.

She looks lovely! My George looked just like that when he was a youngster. They are such mischevious dogs, we have to keep George on a long lead because if he doesn't feel like coming back he'll just run and run wherever his nose takes him. I expect that's what Marmite has done. I hope someone nice is looking after her and soon finds the site or sees a poster. Good luck xxx
