A huge Thankyou to the Speakers at the DTA Symposium for their thought-provoking and entertaining speeches. It was such a priviledge to listen to these experts, who shared their experiences in the canine world so eloquently. Endal and Mason represented assisatance dogs and service dogs - never putting a paw wrong throughout the day - to the delight of all present. Many many thanks to ALL DTA co-ordinators, advisors and associates who made the 1st DTA Symposium such a success. Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Hi M - Just to thank you & say well done for the most entertaining, informative & progressive Symposium yesterday. I made some great contacts for Jesters Law & the things I want to do with regards to info on RTA victims along with some help from the dog wardens & judiciary. I may have cried all the way through most of it but that's just because it was such an amazing thing to have all these dog professionals & owners all in the same room all passionate about getting things changed for dogs & dog owners across the UK whether, lost, stolen, stray or dead. I think that Governments will have to take things seriously in future as clearly DTA & it's associates are a force to be reckoned with even now. Well done M looking forward to the next round, I was proud to a part of such an occasion. Nikki xxxxxxxxxLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

I DON'T POST ON ASTRIDS PAGE VERY OFTEN BECAUSE i TALK WITH HER MUM A LOT ON THE PHONE. ASTRIDS MUM HAS SEARCHED & WAITED FOR HER RETURN FOR THE LONGEST TIME. IN THE MEAN TIME SHE HAS BEEN THE BIGGEST INSPIRATION TO ME AND COUNTLESS OTHER PEOPLE. WITHOUT HER JESTERS LAW WOULDN'T BE AS SUCCESSFUL A CAMPAIGN AS IT IS. RECENTLY ASTRIDS MUM HAS BEEN ON A ROLLER COASTER OF DEEP LOWS & SMALL HIGHS. THIS IS JUST TO SAY THAT I'M ALWAYS ON THE LOOK OUT FOR HER & I ALWAYS WILL BE & THANK YOU FOR ALL YOUR HARD WORK AND IF PEOPLE TRULY UNDERSTOOD JUST HOW DAMNED HARD YOU WORK FOR EVERYONE ELSE SOME OF THE STUPID THOUGHTLESS POSTS THAT ARE WRITTEN WOULD NEVER SEE THE LIGHT OF DAY. KEEP SEARCHING M I'M RIGHT BEHIND YOU - ALL THE WAY WE'LL FIND ASTRID & DTA WILL CHANGE THE WAY THE LAW DEALS WITH DOG THEFT FOR THE GOOD OF EVERY PERSON IN THE UK. Thanks everyone for your support. The Wag & Bone show was a real success. We raised ?188 for DTA - which paid for the stand and some publicity material. We are desperate for funds to attend further events, meetings and interviews up and down the country. Well done everyone who attended. M DTALast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Thank you for your encouraging messages - I'm pretty tired after four days at Crufts. It was absolutely worth it though. We handed out 15,000 postcards and spoke to many organisations about dog theft in the UK. Please check out www.dogtheftaction.co.uk and send a letter to your MP. 55 have signed the Early Day Motion in the House of Commons already! Remember the words co-operation and co-odination when speaking to any one about dog theft! MargaretLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
