After msgs to owner of info on Haven Kennels Fbk page of a collie Billy has bn reunited! So thrilled for this old lad and his family. it seems that Billy was found on a farm in ashford area and the dog warden collected him. He was taken to haven kennels. Billy was scanned for his microchip by both dw and the kennels but none was found so the owner is on the way to the vet to have this checked and if necessary have a new chip put in. It is likely that someone had bn looking after Billy as he was not underweight and did not look as though he had been missing for 2 weeks. Also his collar and tag was not on him when found. Just very glad he is on his way home!! Stay safe now Billy.

Thanks for the update Dizzi. When we spk today you mentioned Billy has a sort of '2nd home' in Greatstone ..where about's in G'stn please? Good postering done by you and gd to keep in touch with dog wardens & rescues in area. It's poss Billy may hv bn taken in by someone as no sightings which seems odd as he is known in area. Suggest an advert in Fri Ad or Observer maybe? Keep postering in surrounding areas. Searches at dusk & dawn poss best now. DO NOT GIVE UP. Billy is out there somewhere and we will keep looking. We have put up posters in the lydd and greatstone areas.
Billy's posters and lost details are being shared around a number of groups and friends on Facebook. We have spoken to the local farmers, kent police, Dungeness police and environment workers.
As yet there have been no sightings of Billy
Please keep looking everyone.

Thanks Julie .. I hv bn shared on to Doglost South East, the Official DL East Sussex page and Marsh Watch Dog Lovers pages. Marsh Watch are brilliant and are in area. Hoping posters will be out tomorrow and sightings start to come in.

Hv spkn to owners. Billy is 13 yrs old but quite active ..went missing Sat b4 the stom. He is known in local area but no one has seen him. Hv advised owners to put up lots of posters and how important this is for sightings. They have bn searching but no sign of him. Billy wld know his way home if not too far away but has wandered before. Lots of sharing on FBk.
Is there anyone who would be able to help poster please?
I have borrowed computer to share on Fbk, put on local pages and post on here, but still have not got access everyday. Owners have my number and can call me whenever they need more advise.
Gino .. Please can we extend alerts to Hastings TN34 and also areas between there and Lydd (TN35, TN36)? Many thanks.
