Thank you Sarah and it was lovely to meet you and Honey's family. I am so Happy :) :) Honey is safe and seems to be well. Owners are taking Honey to the vets for a check up, I am sure all will be fine. She is such a sweet loving dog, adorable. I was not there when she was actually found (2 mins away :( ) but hey who cares she is home. It was lovely to see her reunited with her family and I must say a big Thank You to the farmers Louise and her husband for giving us so much access on their land. Wonderful, super people. Welcome home Honey, enjoy your cuddles and a lie in front of your fire at home, all cozy and warm :) xx Knew that would be a fab reunited photo :)Last edited: 2013-09-06 12:44:01 by BBKM

GREAT NEWS FOR YOU ALL - SHES BEEN FOUND AND REUNITED
SarahL
Hi Eve (Bazil), gutted we did not find Honey yesterday but positive sightins on the farm. Thank you so much for your continued efforts, I am going to try and get away from work and have another look around the farm and woodland today if this is ok with Louise. I am hoping this bad weather brings her out of hiding. She is a very shy dog and will not go to most people unless they have a stick or a ball. Praying she is found today as Avy deperately wants her dog back. Thank you so much again your a star xx

Hi SarahL, I have been out today and getting some posters up. Had my binoculars with me and scoured the fields, golf course and Sports complex down from Golf course. No sign of Honey although I do think she will have lay in a shaded area today as it was so warm. Keep postering, they really do help. I will be coming back down later to stay late again if you do not find her on your search. Good luck, if you get a sighting please call me anytime. I have given my number to Mr and Mrs Reid and Lisa DW has it too. I met them earlier at the Castle and my number is on some of the posters too.

Thank you so much to all who went looking for Honey last night, I have been staying in touch with Lisa (warden) but I dont think there have been any further sightings today. After work, my husband and I are going to collect Andrew, Honey's owner together with the two terriers Rose and Rex and start searching the areas where she has been spotted. It would be absolutely brilliant if more people could join us as we are not from the area, I think Lisa is going to join us too. I can get some posters made up at work today also. Thank you so much for all your help, Sarah

Went down to area where Honey has been sighted, spent about 5 hours there, searching, watching, waiting and driving around until 1am. Trevor was up searching near the Golf course for a few hours and Lisa (Dog warden) and Christine came out late to have a look around the Cemetery area. Christine had a drive around a few times too. No sign of Honey last night. I spoke to a lady who had seen Honey the previous night (Tues) at 8pm. she saw her cross the road towards the Cemetery and walk up towards the school and into the school grounds. Other sightings have been Wednesday morning at Boldon Golf course and Wed afternoon about 1.30/2pm at the Cemetery. I am going to try and get some posters printed at our local Hub or Library and go down there again today to put them up. We need to poster the area, they really do help. Stay safe Honey but please be seen x Good news to hear her owner and grandchild will be out of Hospital today :)

Honey escaped from a car following it's involvement in a road traffic accident on the A19 near the Testos roundabout. She escaped with another of the family dogs who has since been found.
There have been possible sightings of her reported in the north hylton area. She is wearing a red collar and ID tag and is Microchipped
Have temporarily added a photo of a similar dog so that email alerts can go out.
Will request twitter alerts
Hoping for news of her very soon
