- Other Info ran out on front of us. It was obviously lost but I ran off. We tried to look for it on nearby fields. We eventually found it in a same area as we found it initially but again it ran off onto playing fields on Richmond Road.

- Thanks Shereen. I have text owner of Archie ID 55674 advising of possibility this dog being Archie who went missing only 10 miles away from here.

- Whilst out walking my dogs a black Labrador or breed similar size ran out on front of us. It was obviously lost but I ran off. We tried to look for it on nearby fields. We eventually found it in a same area as we found it initially but again it ran off onto playing fields on Richmond Road. It was very scared and we couldn't get close although we had treats. I'm worried for the dogs safety as its dark and also the dog is black and because its so scared is just running and there is lots of roads nearby.

Please ensure that you notify your local Dog Warden and the local Police Station - in Scotland you MUST inform your local Police Station and if possible contact the Dog Warden also.
The found dog may have a Microchip or a Tattoo - please have the dog scanned and checked for a tattoo at a vet's so that owners may be contacted as soon as possible.
