Hi sorry to bother you, I was driving yesterday and we noticed a german shepard dog, small ish build with a chain on it’s neck on the M6 toll road, we were travelling northbound and the dog was walking approx 2 miles south of Norton canes services. We stopped at the services and phoned the police who asked me to contact the traffic cops which I did and they said they were already on their way as someone else had reported it. I managed to get on doglost on my phone, with a little difficulty I noticed Shade and contacted the mobile number, I just wondered if there was an update? I appreciate there are lots of lost dogs you are dealing with but being a dog owner myself I’ve been so worried. I hope it was Shade and they managed to get him back safely.

Many thanks

Tracy

The area is fields on one side and the busy A5 on the other. I have advised owner to contact the Highways Agency and to try local radio. DW has been contacted.

Sue, there are no pics of Shade as they only had him yesterday. Is there a pic we could use to get alerts out. Thanks.
