This is what makes DogLost work - a great warden (CBC Wardens) who care about getting the dogs home, a call to us for help, from owners email address I was able to google and find her new company - what a lovely phone call for me to make yesterday afternoon, I have asked owner to update us once she has come back to earth xx

It gives me great delight to announce that Rudy has been found! :)
He is a little worst for wear, but nothing like a good flea treatment and a few home comforts with his family will fix!
Rudys microchip details were out of date which was making it difficult to locate Rudy Owners but thanks to Angus detective work she managed to track down a contact number for Rudy's owner. Thank you Angus!
Please move over to reunited!!! :) welcome home rudy!

I have confirmed that the dog seen in Drury lane was NOT rudy.

Hi apparently the sighings were of him wandering on his own. Since then someone has said it is poss a different dog. He is microchipped and also I have contacted the dog warden. I will get some posters to houghton hall park that's a great idea. I am convinced someone had him and as he is so small he can be quite inconspicuous someone could keep him in for a long time without a problem. It's so sad and my kids are devestated!

Hi Rudy's owner, sorry he is missing...could you give some more details about the siting in Houghton Regis please..ie was he seen running loose alone, or was he seen with someone...this would be really helpful as there is a big band of dog walkers that go to Houghton Park every day...if you could get down there and put posters around and walk round you can hand posters out to them. They are very friendly and all know each other...some walk lunch time ish some early evenings but get posters at all entrances to this park. Where is druty lane?
You need to get posters out as much as poss.I'm around on wed. have only just seen this info. Have you contacted Dog warden...if you cant get through on central Beds number, which would be a miracle, go through Bucks and they will let Beds n Herts wardens know as well...Goood Luck
