- there was a liver and white spaniel lost in the River Severn at Arlingham (by Stroud)a few weeks back. I wonder if it was this dog that was washed out?

- Tragic. I am so very sorry - another youngster lost to water. Run free at the bridge, where my four springers will be waiting to play xxx

- Poor baby, perhaps another springer that has chased something over a cliff, as a springer owner I know all they can see is what they are chasing specially the youngsters, I have never let mine of the lead any where near cliffs, railways, busy, roads rivers etc he is dafter than most....learnt my lesson after having to jump in a river and grab him when he was a youngster( only waist high but too deep for him)
Sad that he wasn't recovered, some heartbroken family may be searching for him somewhere.
RIP sweetheart x - 2013-07-19 08:31 rachelhayball

- Have posted this dogs reference number on Bracken's page just in case. Fingers crossed Bracken comes back safe and well and this dog's poor owners get the closure they'll need.

- Sorry I do not know very much at all. i just took a call from out of hours council. the guy had just got back from sailing and spotted the dog far in the distance laying still, floating. I just thought in the hope that someone is looking for their petand they think to come online this post may well be seen. Such a sad thing to happen though xx

- Sorry with reference to my post below I think the distance is too great. On the map it did not look that far initially x

- There is a Springer Spaniel missing Dog ID 54292 thought to have gone over a cliff in the Folkestone area. I have not printed on their page as don't want to distress them. I take it that the body of this deceased dog is not retrievable? The colour is different though Black & White and the distance may be too great. If you feel it is appropriate maybe you could alert them. SO sorry xLast edited: 2013-07-18 21:12:55 by reggiemollieros
