Good luck - cats can be amazingly resourceful and are very good at getting people to feed them and look after them. Posters and lots of fliers through local doors can be really effective. x

Also neutered male cats dont tend to stray too far as woluld a FULL TOM. I read somewhere that a neutered male cat has a territory of about 4 average gardens in his area. A female cat 2. Where I live someonme`s cat went "Missing" posters were put up, he was found only several doors away from his owner. Can you believe it? Cats! Paws, and fingers xd.

Spoke to owner who did give me some info!!! but she has been doing all the right things to find Simba.

thank you jayne from head office...and yes janiejewel i will deffo get him chipped when he returns, thank you for your advice, will deffo try the food trick...everyday ive been tapping his dish but nothing yet, but will keep trying...thank you x

Also I would get him "Chipped" as sometimes the collar can come off.

Sorry to see simba is missing. He is neutered so may not be too far away. I have two cats, and if I want them back in, my trick is to cook a morsel of food which they really like via the microwave. eg chicken or/and fish. The smell has them back in no time. Also try tapping his food dish. Good luck.

• If your dog is microchipped please let the microchip company know that your dog is missing and check that all details are up to date.
• Owners targeted by a malicious hoaxer demanding money for the return of their dog should phone the police on 101 immediately and contact admin@doglost.co.uk
• A photograph of your dog is essential for the website. If you have not already uploaded one, please do so by clicking on Update details. Alternatively you can email it to admin@doglost.co.uk quoting the dog's DogLost ID number: (53337)
• Obtain a missing poster by clicking on View poster above. Posters are very important so start postering now!

• Contact dog wardens, vets and local rescue centres, and in Scotland, the Police. Give a detailed description with any distinguishing marks/scars or send them a copy of your DogLost poster. You can find vets in your area here.
