Absolutely deighted to report that this girl is back home.
She was reunited via the dog warden services and the Dog's Trust after a friend alerted Donna to a dog who had been found over the weekend at the other side of Leeds!!
Just brilliant news Donna says it is like she has never been away!
She is now microchipped

Are there any other helpers in Bramley, Pudsey, Rodley, Cavlerley, Farsley or Bradford areas who would be prepared to help Donna this girls owner with postering ? I am in Pudsey and will do what I can but we are looking for other helpers please ?? thanks xx
cathie

I just got a call from a dog owner who was walking on Bramley Park on Tuesday evening around tea-time. She said a Springer spaniel came over to play with her dog. It was with a group of teenagers (male & female). The kids were calling the dog and it ignored them. They then came and grabbed it and pulled it away. It wasn't wearing a collar. When she asked why it wasn't allowed to play, they said it would run off. The caller on reflection, thought it seemed similar to this missing girl. The youths called the dog "Roger" to which it didn't respond, and the caller wasn't convinced it was a male. She's going to go back to the area to see if she can see this dog again.
The chances are that this Springer is totally kosha, but it may be worth paying some visits to Bramley park and seeing if anyone knows this dog xx

I am putting her on my Stolen Dogs in the UK Facebook page and distributing to all dog forums, FB, lost/found/stolen dog sites.

B30
Ok guys, I think all the details are above now. I've swapped the photos and put a small inset of the head shot in the poster photo, you may have to refresh the page to see the change of photos.

I could have sworn the region said NE earlier!!
cathie
Hi Sue, Donna the dogs owner said she got your message she could not answer has she has run out of credit, she said yes please it would be very much appreciated if you could change the photos around, thank you so much xx
cathie
Sue, sorry to be a pest but just found out some more info, the dog was NOT wearing a collar at the time of disappearance but her lead was also stolen along with her, it was a yellow rope type lead, can you update details to say the she wasn't wearing a collar, many thanks Catherine x
cathie
Just notice area says North West it needs to say North East xx
cathie
Thanks Jadeybaby,

Sue I will tell the owner when I see her this evening, thank you very much, I will ask her about the photo and get back to you asap xx
B30
That's very kind of you cathie. I've updated her page with chip, collar and tail details. I'll get her a small advert with her details and photo in the Countryman's Weekly magazine asap. I'll use the second photo which shows her distinctive body markings. This one would have been better for the posters really. If owner wants me to swap them around before any more are printed off let me know and I can do that. The CMW advert will be about three weeks before it's published. Hopefully she'll be found by then but if not it will get her some media coverage.
JadeyBaby
Shared on facebook and will print posters off and put up in Bramley / Rodley area tonight - hope she home safe soon x
cathie
Hi Sue, thanks for that, I am not all that up on computers lol, I have dropped off 50 posters in my lunch hour, spoke to owners dad who said that unfortunately she is not microchipped and had no id tag on collar - they really think the dog was stolen as it would have to had have got through two gates and as I have just been to the house where she went missing from there is no way it could have got out on its own.
B30
cathie I think the original details on this page must have been wrong and changed to LS28 North East but if the page had already been shared on FB before this was done FB 'remembers' the info from when it was first posted. Unfortunately it's a FB thing!

Thanks for your help with this girl. If you speak to the owner later please can you ask her to update the details of whether wearing a collar and ID tag and if microchipped.
cathie
Spoken to owner and am dropping some posters off for her after work and I will also be putting some up xx
cathie
