- Just spoken to the kind person helping Zeus' owner. ZEUS IS HOME ! The council had been called & informed as well as asked if a dog of Zeus' description had been handed in or collected & the council had said no. Only when a photo of the dog was sent to the council was the match eventually made. This is a concern as Zeus had been in the council kennel for a week,she is over 13 years old ,her 7 days were up . Anyway she is home & safe now. Owner has been advised to microchip & tag her,all so important as dogs can end up in the system without being returned to owners if no ID is readily available.
