- With great relief I can move Alfie into the blue! Was so worried about the busy roads.
He went into someone's garden near the racecourse yesterday but wouldn't allow anyone to go near him to see his tag. The kind person left food out for him and he returned this morning and handed himself in!

- Alfie is 8 years old Sue.
We now know from someone who called in with a sighting from yesterday that he was seen about 1.30 pm near Waitrose/ELS windows looking very frightened. This means he has now crossed over the main A6.
I have notified friends who live in Stoughton who walk their dogs regularly at the Arboretum in case Alfie tries to head there as this is also a place he knows.
Please also any dog walkers at Brockshill Country Park keep an eye open. - 2013-05-25 17:52 B30

- Spoken to owner. Alfie disappeared when the high winds blew a door open yesterday. This is near Oadby.
He is microchipped and wearing a navy blue leather collar with tag. He is not the sort of dog to go far without his people.
Owners doing all the right things. Am emailing advice sheets and contact numbers.
