He is soooo sweet. Well done. Hope his owner is traced but in the event then I guess it wouldn't be too long before this chap will get a second chance of another home. xx

Small donation made to RAW, I'm sure it will go towards getting this little fella fit & healthy again. For anyone who doesn't know if you go on the RAW website there is information regarding a shopping website that donates money to charities when you make a purchase. It has well known retailers on there such as Tesco & Amazon. If you can't afford to donate but want the big corporate companies to, look on www.roystonanimalwelfare.org under the events & fundraising section.

Thank you - just wanted to give you another update.

I've managed to to find somewhere to board him with a friend who has no dogs so I picked him up from cliffe kennels today ( cliffe kindly said they didnt want any boarding fees )the money I had for his boarding went towards his vet fees ( I took him straight to the vets from kennels) so he will now stay in segregation until he is over his cough. RAW have been fantastic they are covering all vet fees he has also been chipped today , he will be transferred to RAW once he is better.

I just also wanted to say a massive thank you to pet bay ltd ( new pet shop in mapplewell) they have been so helpful even sending lots of toys, food and treats for him. They played a massive part in spreading the word that he was lost so thank you.

And thank you jumanji for you advice and helping put posters up. I will keep you updated and any donations towards his vet fees are care would be fab .

I've managed to get a place at Royston animal welfare for this little dog I've named him bobby, sadly though he has to stay at cliffe kennels as he has got kennel cough and cannot move to the rescue kennels. RAW have kindly agreed to pay a week boarding at cliffe but they cannot afford to pay any longer as funds are tight. I am trying to raise some funds for him so he can get re homes through RAW who home check, microchip, vacs and castrate. If anyone could help could they please donate http://www.roystonanimalwelfare.org/rescue/ for the bobby fund. RAWwere the only rescue that got back to me regarding re homing him. He is a fantastic little dog.

Really nice to meet you too and thank you for your help , just feel as if I've let him down not been able to keep him but he really does not like other dogs. Will spend time with him tomorrow and take him for a long walk with his ball ( he loves fetch on his two lunge lines ) then hand him over. Fingers crossed now he finds a forever home. Xxx

Sadly not patch, face is very much like his but the marking on is body are not. I got so excited too when someone rang for him. I've emailed all rescues now trying to get a place for him after his 7 days are up hoping someone could take him in as I like rescues to do home checks and have backup.

I've emailed all local rescue asking if they could help so fingers crossed. Posters are out in darton,, mapplewell and staincross. Nobody has phoned for him such a massive shame dog warden will have tomorrow and fingers crossed he finds a fab home he needs one and he is such a loving little man but sadly really does not get on with dogs. Maybe that's why owners have not been in touch????

You could try Royston Animal Welfare to see if they have any spaces? 01226 298271

Liana i should be able to get there about 11 for an hour or so and again later on in the day. I will text or call you in the morning and we can liase about times and which roads have been done and which need doing etc but I also think posters will be effective in spreading the word. There is always the chance he has wandered in from further afield, We once found a border collie near the horses on the cross roads which had come up from Woolley.
liana
That would be great thank you I've knocked on a few doors and asked as I've had some calls thinking he is from land head rise however it's not him as the owner has had two people asking the same question he has been seen on face book. Been getting calls for people to buy him off us !!!! Not a chance. We should be out about 11 for a good few hours what time can you do? Thank you for your help.
Jumanji - Co-ordinator.South.Yorkshire
Oh that's such a shame Liana ! Have you tried putting up any posters yet ? I will pop a few up tonight . Would you like help with the door knocking tomorrow I could come and help as I live just round the corner from where he was found x

liana
Bad news really he will not get on with any dog so I won't be able to keep him, gutted as he is such a fab little dog too somebody must be missing him. Myself and hubby will go door knocking tomorrow with the above photo. He is fine where he is till Monday. Really don't want him to go to cliffe but I may have no option does anyone know any other rescues in my area?
Jumanji - Co-ordinator.South.Yorkshire
Thanks Liana ! Well done you are carrying out all the necessary requirements to find this boys owners and i understand he is in safe hands with you and that you will be looking after him under a 28 day retained by finder agreement from the dog warden. For the benefit of anyone who claims him,......you will need to prove ownership by describing markings on his body etc.
liana
He has been scanned head to toe no chip, very friendly dog , dog warden , lost and found and vets informed also local pet shops. Will do posters Tomorrow if not claimed I will have to try and find a home for him due to me having a terrier with attitude unless I can get them to get along. Please pass on details
