I got someone to print more posters and will put some more up today as I am going to two tree. Will put more up along Leigh from chalkwell to the ship? Has anyone done along there? The cards are a good idea I will keep a poster and show all walkers I meet. I am away for a week from tomorrow I hope she is found. Would it be a good idea to put on posters to check garden under bushes? Ours was hiding. He was nervous and stayed right under a bush

I’ve found that it helps to print out an A4 sheet of paper cut into business-card size slips, each with brief details and your phone number on. Give them to all the local dog walkers, postmen etc. you meet. Then if someone has news when they’re out and about they don’t need to find a poster or log on to the site to contact you. Ellie seems to have lots of volunteers on her case, hope she's home soon. Was her old home nearby? She wouldn't be trying to find her way back would she?

I had one poster left and put it past chalkwell station on a tree along marine parade. Not brilliant picture tho it was black and white. No news yet? Dog warden would have checked the chip but it has been known that they don't pick it up. Worth calling acres way just in case? Hope she turns up soon.

Went missing from the Broadway end of Leigh Hall Road. Someone almost had her on the day she went missing, and said she was heading towards broadway and possibly went across the road and down the opposite one (Ave road?) which would have taken her onto cliff parade/the clifftop.
Both Train stations alerted to her being missing too

Lots of posters up and dog walkers in the area are aware of ellie. just odd no sightings. hopefully, as spangles says, the bank hols may have had something to do with no contact with dw.

Got back from work at 1am and had a walk with my dog round chalkwell while it was quiet. Nothing. Lets hope someone has her at home waiting to call warden. What road did she go missing from? Is it worth me going other side of London road? I went along by station and up a few roads around the grand.

You are all doing great out there. You may call the owner if you need to - I'm sure they will be grateful of help. Glad there are posters all over - with any luck someone will see something. Hopefully owner has read all advice sent by Debs. x

Sharing far and wide....really hope that the Bank Holiday has something to do with no calls etc....unfortunately not everyone knows the law about finding a dog and someone may have held onto her until they can contact the Dog Warden tomorrow, really hope this is the case, come on Ellie lets get you home x

was at leigh boot sale yesterday did not see anything and been up through prittlebrook today to westcliff saw nothing on my walks. hope shes found soon i live in westcliff and have shared on my wall and missing dog group x

Im on touch with the owner. Posters are EVERYWHERE any way, but still no calls or sightings. I personally knocked on every door in the lost dogs road, and not a single person had seen her, or had gardens she could get into.

I asked too and heard there was no sightings. Have offered numerous time to poster if someone can print some off for me as I don't have a printer at moment. I only had ten yesterday which input up round chalkwell park. But I could put up so many more along the road to old Leigh along chalkwell beach. From experience I found you have to poster quickly but I have offered. One of our rescues Yiftaki was famously missing in Surrey for six months. The posters get dog lovers looking out for them.

I have do e chalk well park but only had the ten posters. Wish I had more now as I have two hours before work and could do more areas. Anyone printed any off they want help with I'm on 07709340940. Getting as many places postered as early as possible is crucial.

I also don't have a printer at the moment but if anyone can print some off I can help put them up I could only print off ten at work. I work in waitrose in Leigh so will ask to put one up on the door this morning.

Ha a look at 2am around chalkwell on my way home from work. My missing rescue was hiding under the bushes in someone's front garden in the next street! So it was only by pestering that someone looked. I have some printed and can put up this morning. Any ideas where I should start as dont want to go to an area if its done.

A friend who runs a dog rescue said contact Acres Way Kennels in benfleet. If the dog has been picked up, it would probably go there. 01268 770402 is their number.
She also said call southend council's out of hours service as they are SUPPOSED to keep a log of any dogs picked up and sent to those kennels. But they were rubbish in the past, so this one may not come to anything. Hope that helps

Ok, Chalkwell park checked, no one has seen her there. Along the Clifftop checked, no one seen her. Asked Leigh and Chalkewell train station, no reports of a dog on the tracks or station.
No one seen her in the Broadway or the road she went missing from.
Gonna search again tomo I think (I am any way) and maybe do a door knock
