Thanks Helen, I agree with you that hopefully he's found his way home,it certainly isn't any of our local collies that I know.

Thank you Paw for eveything you are doing to find this stray dog, I'm hoping that if there hasn't been anymore sightings of him he has managed to find his own way home but I know if you do see him again you will post on here x

I saw some people setting up markers for the big walk on Sunday morning and made them aware of this dog...........saw them again taking down the markers Sunday evening but still not seen anything. Can only assume it has found it's way home or just carried on running. I may try to put a poster in the car park at Kenton Hills (I think this may be where it came from as the farmer saw it after my workfriend on Friday lunchtime) asking if anyone has picked it up to let me know. I forgot to take the flyers to Cakes & Ale!

Phoned vets at Sax, they hadn't anything in their lost book, spoke to people at Cakes & Ale site, they hadn't seen it either. Drove along the back road from there to Theberton but didn't see anything. It could have come from Theberton direction to get to Abbey & Lovers lanes. From the 6.00p.m. sighting on the Eastbridge Road it must have gone down one of the tracks back towards Lovers Lane & Kenton Hills or I would have seen it when out with Rufus. Will keep a lookout on our evening walk and tomorrow morning. There's a big charity walk/run tomorrow along the coast and not too far from some of sightings so maybe someone willl see it again.

A Border Collie was seen yesterday in a farmer's field in Theberton....quite possibly the same dog.

Have now printed up some card-size "flyers" to leave at Cakes & Ale and possibly hand out to people, stating where & when the dog was seen, advising anyone who may find this dog to contact dog warden & doglost.

Someone at work had seen this dog on Lover's Lane at about 1.00-1.15p.m. and saw a police car stop. Whilst walking my collie later that evening someone told me they had seen a similar dog running down the Eastbridge Road at about 6.00p.m. I've just been stopped by a local farmer who saw it at both these times - first time it was on Abbey Lane (between Cakes & Ale site and the B1122, which must have been just before my workfriend saw it. He did try to coax it to his vehicle, but said it looked very scared. I drove to Kenton Hills yesterday evening & spoke to a couple of dog-walkers but they had seen nothing. Have walked from beach around the outer path of Kenton Hills and through track to the Eastbridge Road this morning but saw nothing. Will call in Saxmundham vets later to let them know in case anyone enquires there and probably call at Cakes & Ale campsite in case it is from there.
