- How awful for this poor soul! I really hope he does not go back to the owner if the Warden does contact her. She may try and say he escaped and dispose of him some other way to avoid getting into trouble. If the name of the owner is known and the fact that she has left him to die, should the RSPCA and Police not be notified as this is a case of abandonment and neglect? She needs to be shown by the law that this is unacceptable! She should be banned from keeping all animals for life! This makes me so angry!

- Hi Debbie - as you appear to know the name of his owner, could you contact the dog warden and let him know. The dog warden maybe able to contact her and it may then be possible to allow the dog to be rehomed as soon as possible without the need to serve his 7 days in the pound, waiting for an owner that won't reclaim him. Seems like he deserves to be snuggled up on someones sofa after all that he has been through and as you know his name that will probably help him settle quicker too along with any history from a previous owner for prospective new owners is always a good thing too. Thank you.Last edited: 2013-04-12 11:27:15 by Tobys Mum

- This dog belongs to a girl named jess higgins his name is harley she originally put him in an unoccupied house and left him there to die he was rescued by another person who wanted to jeep him but was told he couldnt have a dog at his accomodation so he returned him to his previous owner who then has clearly abandoned him again such a sad story but there are some really awful people out there
