Great news...well done team Phez....
Pat
So happy to see little Phez is home safe. X
Cassie
WOW. This is the best news ever. Thank goodness she found her way home. I would strongly suggest putting a falconers bell, or similar on her collar, if you ever let her off lead again!!! What a huge relief in this bitter weather, knowing she can curl up beside a fire and rest. Quite an adventure for her, but one I hope she doesn't want to repeat!!
Belle
Clever Girl Phez! :)))))
jobadger
Very pleased this little cutie is back home safely. xx

Wow - that is BRILLIANT news - been out this evening and was thinking now I could drive over & take another look around in the quiet - so very pleased for you and that little 'Phez' is safe. What a smart little dog she must be - finding her way home again. x
Shirando
It is wonderful news. My husband has been walking his GSD all over the forest from the Sudbourne entrance and footpaths 28 and 24. keeping his eyes open, a spare lead and some titbits.
Unknown

the Clarke family cannot thank EVERYONE enough for helping with this search
Cassie
I'll do Daisy's Walk tomorrow and Friday Street again. Hopefully Phez might come out of hiding if I've got other dogs with me. If anyone sees Phez, I'm happy to come out anywhere a.s.a.p.

Jeccaclarke - look on DL facebook page to see where we've been this afternoon x
Jeccaclarke
the wood that she was last seen in is called Staverton Wood. fully fenced with 2 gates in and out with room to crawl underneath. no other visible way she could escape! will go back up tomorrow and see if we have any more luck...most frustrating!
Sarah Jane
helpers just back and been out there since 3.30 walking tracks and farm areas , it is now getting dark ...stay safe tonight phez xx
may be worth tomorrow owner setting a bbq up near to farm
DogLostHelen - Regional Co-ordinator - Norfolk, Suffolk and Cambridge
Sarah Jane, the owner could certainly leave clothing, scent and food in the area tonight in the hope that Phez will stay in the area.
If this is to be done on private land the landowner's permission would be needed.
Belle
good luck finding Phez. Fingers crossed she's home SOON
Sarah Jane
just spoke to helpers out there at the moment still no sign , as she has been seen quite a few times in this area would it be wise to set a cage up with owners scent /food etc..tonight and owners if possible nearby , i happy to be out there tomorrow and if owners/helpers want to meet up and we cover the area ...
Jeccaclarke
Thank you. Best place to start would be the nice place where they do weddings and stuff that's where we started but moved on so she may be back there thank you

It's good she has been seen Jeccaclarke, there are a couple of helpers heading to that area now to help look for her x
Jeccaclarke

Jeccaclarke

Jeccaclarke
getting more worried now been out today and no sightings has anyone seen or heard anything? thank you for all your help x
Jeccaclarke
Thank you for everyone's help these past couple of days. My sister's went out again today past Tunstall and towards sudbourne. They then went through chillisford and out past butley, finishing off through wantisden. Sadly no sign of her but put more posters up and spoken to more people. I cannot thank everybody enough. Please come home phez x
Cassie
Have left poster at Wantisden Farms, the gentleman who sells veggies and eggs on Butley to Hollesley Road and at The Green Man in Tunstall. Will put one in Happy Horse in Melton tomorrow. No sign of her, come on Phez, time to show yourself girl...
Lou-BJ
Just driven from Snape via sudbourne & chillesford, butley to Rendlesham & hubbie now over Friday st. Here's hoping for sightings x
Cassie
My friend walked track 28 this morning. I've driven round Butley to Tunstall area, and we've walked Friday Street this afternoon. Nothing to report I'm afraid...
Cassie
I'll put a poster up at Acorn Dog Training in Tustall tonight, and The Green Man pub, they are dog lovers.
I'll walk in Chillesford wood this afternoon.

Thank you Sarah Jane, good to know there are plenty of posters up in the area and thank you for postering some more x
Sarah Jane

bullt
Good idea about the TROGs - I was thinking about them this evening & how helpful they were before. Stay safe Phez ...
DogLostHelen - Regional Co-ordinator - Norfolk, Suffolk and Cambridge
Thank you to all of you who are helping to search for Phez, the owner really does appreciate it x
Cassie
I've also put details on the TROG forum, the off roaders are very good at looking for lost dogs! I've emailed Helen at Happidays with the details. I met the sisters of Phez's owner today, they were busy riding the forest to cover as much ground as possible. They said that Phez doesn't know the area, and that if she find a house, she is likely to sit on the doorstep and whine...
bullt
Have been out till too dark to see anything really - drove slowly from The Maltings towards Orford. Went into the forest on the road by 29 ( I think it is ) & back out. Then carried on till the x roads & went right onto the road past The Froize -towards Butley. Turned off onto the A1078 to Tunstall - saw several posters (and removed one of "Tess" ...) and then across left onto that Wantisden road towards Butley. Did the circuit from the end of that road left towards Orford and into the A1078 again. Headed for home via Tunstall past the riding stables and a road across through the forestry nearer Snape. Sadly no little white dog - only some rabbits & a deer. Will go back in the morning and walk into some tracks with my own dogs.
Sarah Jane
i will also go to both the local stables which both ride out that way ... and will inform postman and the man who lives on The Common who sells logs as he is up and down the track...
Sarah Jane
this is where i live ! i will go out first light and go where last sighting was wantisden to Butley least she still in area ... do we know if she is nervous ? likely to come to human with food ?
Lou-BJ
My hubbie is walking George over at Friday street the top end going towards butley.
Cassie
Walked Iken side of forest. Asked tree fellers to keep their eyes open for her, and livery owners at Iken livery. There is a large farm on the Butley to Wantisden road, and they are always happy to help and put up posters so all their farm workers are made aware. Shall I take them a poster in the morning? Phez could end up in Friday Street forest, or Not far from Bentwaters. I'll email Helen at Happidays and she'll put up a poster in her doggie creche.
Lou-BJ
Walked along gate 28 at tunstall & drove back thru tunstall & butley around 1530. So glad there's been a sighting. Will try to go out later as well. Saw posters on posts at FC gates. Here's hoping another sighting x
DogLostHelen - Regional Co-ordinator - Norfolk, Suffolk and Cambridge
Bumped due to this sighting x
Jeccaclarke
seen today at 4pm along the tunstall to butley rd in wantisden, on the left hand side. unable to specify how far along this road she was seen.
Unknown
Drove down Orford Road, and checked out all the car parks & drifts, checked out pigs on opposite side of road as they had pig pellets to eat, then went on to Blacklands Lane Sudbourne, and walked Gate 22. Asked all dog walkers to look for Phez, but didn't see any posters on the forest Gates. Might be an idea to do each one so all dog walkers are aware. Had you thought about starting a barbeque close to where she was seen/went from?
Cassie
Want to come and help this afternoon. No reply on first number and voicemail on second. Without any further info, will walk where Phez was lost, but if anyone wants a different area covered, please call me on 07747034031.

Thank you tworedshoes x

Will look tomorrow from Snape down the Orford road, in case she's moved further on. Have shared on fb.
Lou-BJ
have messaged her and asked if she wants to meet up tomorrow to walk or where she would like me to walk with George x
DogLostHelen - Regional Co-ordinator - Norfolk, Suffolk and Cambridge
Thank you for offering to go out and look for Phez, it is probably best if you contact her owner for details of what areas need to be covered x
Lou-BJ
where is best place for me to walk tomorrow to see if Phez can be seen? emailed a link to Phez's page to the forestry commission. Have shared on my fb wall, Tunstall Livery fb page& Sandlings forest fb page. here's hoping she's home safe and well asap xxx
