INDY has been found! We have just picked her up. She is very timid, tired and lost a lot of weight but so happy to have her home. Thank you to everyone who has looked for her, passed her picture on. I will gladly do the same in future for any dogs lost in our area. Looking forwards to a good nights sleep tonight!

Sadly no more news. Have been out walking since 7 this morning but no sighting of her. Will be going out again later, just stopping to call all vets, dogs home etc again.

We have had reports tonight of someone seeing a grey dog in Peasedown about 7am this morning by the toilets. Not a definite sighting but some hope. Will be searching the area at 7am tomorrow in the hope that she may be walking around. Thank you to all those who have helped today xx

Thank you. Last sighting was last night at 5.30 in a field behind the cricket club. We are heading there again now. Any help would be appreciated. My signal is not too good up there but hopefully you can get through

Have there been any more sightings? I live in Peasedown and my boyfriend in Paulton and so split my time between the two. Have some spare time this evening if you want help looking? I would hope people would do the same for me and my dog!

Thank you. We have been out again today, just stopped for a bit of warmth. Have alerted the dog warden, who has in turn been alerting dog walkers in the area. It is a big concern that she has been taken now as she is so distinctive. Hoping enough people know her picture to recognise her if someone turns up with a new pet. Thank you xx

We have contacted all the vets and the dogs home in Bath. We have had another sighting at 5.30 this evening. We've been out looking but not seen her. Will be back out first thing tomorrow. A friend is a milkman in the area so will look out on his rounds. If you know anyone in the area please ask them to look for her. When someone approached her tonight at 5.30 she ran off. They said the dog matched the description and looked in good health.

Bath Vet Group are in PSJ as well as Weston, up near Culverhay School and Saltford. Would be worth giving their surgery in PSJ a call and asking them to put up a poster? 01761 435673. That's quite a distance Indy's covered (hopefully across fields and not along the roads!) Heading that way is in towards Bath. Bath Cats & Dogs home is in that direction too - have you tried them in case she's been handed in? 01225 787321

We have had a sighting of Indy in Peasedown ST John near Bath yesterday morning at 7am. If you know of anyone in that area please ask them to look out for her.

Thank you all so much. We've put out more posters today, have relatives putting leaflets through letter boxes tonight. We have contacted all the kennels/dog hotels and vets. Will contact dog warden first thing tomorrow as she hasn't been working because of the bank holiday. Will put flyers in all the local vets. We are worried that someone will keep her as a pet as she is so different and we always get comments on how beautiful she is. So please keep an eye out for anyone who says they have a new staffy. Thak you all so much for sharing x

Have shared with paulton barmy army on fb. Hope u find her. Have been out and about up monger lane/simons hill but didn't see anything. Sorry - have you asked paulton pets hotel up paulto hill if they've heard anything

Thank you. We have put up posters around Paulton, on the roundabouts by Tesco, in Radstock and Norton High Street, various pubs etc. Also put posters in the pampered pet shop in Norton, but lots of places still shut for bank holiday. Word seems to be getting round as a number of people that we have spoken to have already heard that she is missing. Would be great if people could link this site to their facebook/twitter pages as will help to spread the word. Thank you everyone for your help.

Hi. I saw the hot air balloon on my way home from Keynsham that day. I live in MSN and drive from there to Keynsham daily so have been looking out for Indy. I haven't noticed any posters along the route she was lost though - up the hill and all the way through Paulton? Have you contacted all the vets in MSN and the one in Paulton on the roundabout by the new houses? I will keep my eyes open (unfortunately cannot search with young twins)...and hope you get Indy home soon x

Hi. Indy is still missing, now having spent two nights out in freezing conditions. Please keep an eye out for her. We had a comment when walking yesterday from someone that he would probably keep her if he saw her (nice man!). Always get comments on how beautiful she is so please keep an eye out, maybe you might notice someone with a new dog suddenly? Many thanks

I will try to contact the owner to offer advice. Are there any helpers close by?
Edited to add that Indy lives a long way from here but does know the imediate area to the house. Scenting instructions and advice eailed and also adde Indy to Doglost South West facebook.
