Very relieved to see that Pepper has been returned home unharmed. There is always hope for these sad people that steal in the beginning that they do have a conscience and do the right thing and return the pet(s)! Stay safe and close Pepper from now on as we all know its not a nice safe world out there xxLast edited: 2013-03-22 18:55:21 by ClaireC

FANTASTIC NEWS PEPPER IS BACK HOME !!!!!! Had a call from delighted owner say she heard her parents dog going ballistic outside (around 20 mins ago now) so went out and Pepper was at the other side of the gate. It does seem that she has been returned/dumped outside her home. She was relatively dry apart from the snow currently falling so appears she has been "inside" somewhere. Just as an alert the owner heard from a neighbour that a large white transit van had been noted near a neighbours house about 8.15 am on the morning Pepper was taken. When she went out to try obtain reg no the vehicle drove off .Please be on alert . Welcome home Pepper and stay safe. xxxxxxLast edited: 2013-03-22 17:48:14 by Merlintrude

Rang owner to offer help. Pepper is a much loved pet and was outside this morning with another dog ( parents dog ) whilst owner was tending to their chickens. Her partner left around 7am - and she went into the house to get some water. approx 5 mins later she heard her parents dog barking/growling so went back out and Pepper had disappeared - it certainly seems she has been taken and that the owners movements have been watched for an opportune moment. The police have been informed and a CRN obtained. Dog warden has been notified as well as the chip company.
Pepper has Demodex mite and needs regular medication to control it.
Gave owner the tel no for Fleet Kennels. Telegraph & Argus have already been contacted to put an advert in but sadly have missed this weeks publication but will go in next Thursday. Vets have been contacted. Owner is getting posters laminated tonight to get as many out as possible and getting Pepper onto Facebook, Gumtree and other websites advertising pets for sale. Hope this gorgeous girl is home safe & sound soon xx Please share this to as many people as possible.Last edited: 2013-03-21 21:25:20 by Merlintrude
