Kelly Anne I am gutted for you. I know exactly how much you did for Flufi and I know you will miss the little fella. No one could have loved him more and despite that you still looked above and beyond what most would to find his owners. Big hugs xx

Sweet dreams little man, run free over the Rainbow Bridge xx

Kelly-Anne my heart goes out to you and FLUFI. You did a fantastic job with him when you FOUND and kept him when no-one claimed him. FLUFI came on leaps and bounds and was transformed to a gorgeous bundle of fluff. :)

Run free at the Bridge and sweet dreams FLUFI. xxx

I am so very sorry to read your sad news about Flufi. Kelly-Anne, it is hard but you must think of the good times and much love that you gave to him. Without you he would never have known true love, loyalty and commitment. He was certainly at peace and surrounded in love at his end. Bless you for taking him in. RIP Flufi never to be forgotten xx Last edited: 2014-11-26 19:18:38 by ClaireC

So sorry for your sad loss of Fluff, but at least in his final time on earth he was given love, and care, and ypu should be so proud of yourself. And he went peacefully with you at his side. Also you are able to lay him to rest. Night, night Fluff, sleep tight, and have fun at the bridge. A~~~Candle~~~burns for you Because of the love you gave Fluff, you may feel he is still around; which he is. Run free little manxxxx (HUG)Last edited: 2014-11-26 12:49:20

Updated photo uploaded. Flufi, as he is now called is still with Kelly-Anne and she is making one final attempt at finding his owners as she is still convinced someone will be looking for this lovely boy. After lots of grooming sessions he is looking more like he should. Thank you Kelly-Anne, you have done an amazing thing for this little boy x
Kelly-Anne
Thanks for adding the new photo of Flufi. Hope you agree he is looking a lot better. Hope it may jog somebodies memory and recognise him as a missing dog from a bit ago. xx
Kelly-Anne
Hi just to let you know that I have still got Flufi. He is nicly putting weight on and socialising a lot better within the home. I will kep you updated. :-)
Joy
Is there any update on how flufi is getting along?
Jo
Aww bless him he's lucky to have found someone like you, I hope he finds a home soon and is as happy there as he is with you x
Kelly-Anne
Just to let you know it was in last nights Oldham Chronicle. I am going to ring the council tomorrow to find out what has been put in place to prevent a catalogue of errors happening again. He is doing great. My daughter has named him Flufi whice is because when all his dread locks and matted fur had been removed he suited the name. We have had him 3 weeks now, getting him weighed and second lot of injections in morning. Will update again soon. :-)

I am the person who thought possibly this was the missing bearded collie which has been listed on the beardie forum. Unfortunately I have not been able to persuade the owner of the beardie to put on here but if you email me e.beale@ssesurf.co.uk I can give you the details of the beardie.(I am going to ask the beardie owner yet again to see if she will give me all details so it can be added here)
xWendyx
Do you know any more details about the bearded collie? I'm from Chesterfield and didn't know about him so could help to search and spread the word

I have managed to catch up with Kelly-Anne today to see how this boy is doing. He has managed to put on a little weight and is now not so matted after a trip to the groomers, he really was in a sorrowful state poor thing :( Kelly has today spoken to the Tameside Dog Warden and they'd had lots of reports of a similar dog roaming in the area a couple of months ago but no one could catch him. He will be staying where he is until his family has been found but Kelly is doing a great job in providing the very best for him. He is settling down nicely and is a very well behaved dog, someone must be missing him.

There will be an article in tomorrows Oldham Chronicle with an apology from the council for the mix up when he was first reported as found. I will try and post a link to it here when/if it is online.

Bumping due to the article.
Kelly-Anne
I sent photos to Butchers and they have confirmed that it is not him. I have had him at the vets this morning to have injections and a health check. I will continue to look after him and hope he makes a full recovery.
pixies peeps
Both finder and I have managed to get in touch with the elusive owner of the missing beardie but they do not think this is their dog.(I have impressed on the beardie owner their missing dog needs to be registered on doglost itself)
mathers22
Any news here yet ? xx
pixies peeps
Am in contact with finder as is possible this could be a bearded collie missing from Chesterfield since feb 11th (Tried to get owner to register on here but was obviously unsuccessful) Have spoken to the contact for the missing beardie to tell them re the found dog and understand they are in touch with each other. Fingers crossed this is the same dog.
mathers22
Poor lad hope he gets a second chance if he's not claimed xx
Belle
Any chance of a better photo when he looks up from his food bowl? ;)
Nikki (Tyler's mum)
Poor little mite, I hope he gets lots of tlc now he is safe :( x
