DogLostCJ - Police Liaison & SE Regional Coordinator
This dog was collected by owner. I also checked with Elsa's owner re other markings as this found dog had a very distinctive large growth on right front leg. Elsa did not.

Could the one at the bottom of this page possibly be her? http://www.rochdale-dog-rescue.com/urgentdogs.html
I know that this may be hundreds or even thousands of miles out of your region, but she could have still been taken that far. Who knows...?

Still looking for Elsa

I would be so grateful if you could get a pic. If you could get close enough to her to find out if she has a splodge on tongue and gap in teeth would be great. For her to come to you the best thing to do is not to follow her but to stand or better still sit side ways to her and throw smelly tit bits for her to gain your trust. You may be able to get closer to her or him to get a good pic. Thanks for the info

Hi, I have recently sighted a docked rottweiler in Bow Brickhill/Aspley Heath woods in Milton Keynes. Twice in the mornings i have been walking a large group of dogs and have sighted the same dog, on his/her own, there is no owner in sight or anyone around at all, the dog is walking the same route. This dog is not timid but does not want to be approached by people or dogs - He/she starts walking quicker to the edge and up the hill away from us.

I know the area is a bit out of your way, but it may be worth checking it out? If i can get a photo i will try to when i am there this week.

I have got no reply to my query to Fife Rotti rescue as of yet. I am still waiting. Is there any other way I could contact them?
pidja
I have been in touch with the Rotti rescue and the owners about Rosie in Fife. I will update this if and when I get any results.

Sorry to hear you have been unwell. Have you had any sightings at all of Elsa pidja? Please remember to check with www.animalwardens.co.uk for found dogs. Also if someone has picked up Elsa she may be in a different area so check with the dog wardens in your surrounding areas. Poster everywhere and anywhere that lots of people will see them. You need to make all aware that Elsa is missing.

Yesterday

Does anyone know this dog? "Rosie" travelled to us after doing her time in a Pound down south, we have afeeling that she is a missing/lost dog rather than a stray or abandoned one, she does have a couple of things that would identify her to her owner, please crosspost and share.x
cazwin
Take a look on Fife Rotweiller rescue (on f/b) they have just posted a girl who has spent 7 days in the pound down south... they think she is more a missing or stolen baby then a stray xx Goodluck

According to the rescue Elsa came from they think her microchip may be faulty. A rotty was picked up in ash ford and taken to Haven kennels unfortunately its not Elsa. I've added a similar photo as the owners aren't online and the helper dealing with this hasn't yet been able to get a photo from them.

Yes the number above is correct. Please try again

Sorry to see that ELSA is missing.
  • If your dog is microchipped please let the microchip company know that your dog is missing and check that all details are up to date.
  • Owners targeted by a malicious hoaxer demanding money for the return of their dog should phone the police on 101 immediately and contact admin@doglost.co.uk
  • A photograph of your dog is essential for the website. If you have not already uploaded one, please do so by clicking on Update details. Alternatively you can email it to admin@doglost.co.uk quoting the dog's DogLost ID number: (50077)
  • Obtain a missing poster by clicking on View poster above. Posters are very important so start postering now!
  • You will need to be logged in to upload photos, edit your dog's details, or add comments. You can add comments by clicking on Click here to add a comment.
  • Contact dog wardens, vets and local rescue centres, and in Scotland, the Police. Give a detailed description with any distinguishing marks/scars or send them a copy of your DogLost poster. You can find vets in your area here.
  • If your dog has been stolen inform the police immediately and obtain a crime reference number (CRN). Send an email to stolen@doglost.co.uk.
  • If your dog is picked up and taken to rescue kennels, it can be legally re-homed after seven days. Visit rescue centres in person and do not rely on checking by phone alone. Other people may not recognise your dog by your description, so give them a DogLost poster.
  • Keep us updated by keeping your dog's page up to date and check for posts from helpers who may have suggestions and possible matches or sightings
  • DogLost is free and anyone asking for money to find or return your dog is not volunteering for us. If you are concerned about an approach you have received, please email admin@doglost.co.uk
