Brilliant news - was wondering about Amber just the other day! Please consider getting her a microchip to go with the collar - it may make it easier for her to find her way home if she wanders again. If possible - it would be best to try and keep her in for a couple of weeks - help her remember where home is. :)) xxx

Dear Dogs Lost

REALLY, REALLY FANTAIC NEWS...................................

I opened the patio blinds this morning and who was sitting there meowing to get in but AMBER.

Amber went missing form home on 26th January on a cold, dark winter morning at 7am - after screaming since about 4am to get out . There has been absolutely no sighting of her whatsoever in spite of flyers through letter boxes, door to door and garden to garden searches, posters on every second lampost, gumtree, regular phone calls to Cats Protections, SSPCA, C&D Home, vets, etc and postings on numerous cats (& even dog lost) websites.

She was very hungry but apart from that looked in really good nick - definitely not been living rough. After eating all her food and half of Oscars she immediately wanted back out. Robert is under strict instructions to keep her in but I know I'll probably have to let her out in the next day or two (this time with a collar!) and am terrified she'll go back to wherever she has been.

I'm so happy to have my wee girl back.

I tried to post this mail on my Dogs Lost ad but couldn't login. Many thanks to Dogs Lost and volunteers.

I'm afraid to say Amber is still missing - but still looking and hoping. Many thanks to all who have read Ambers profile and are looking out for her. Thanks also to the helper who reported a possible sighting in Edinburgh - I checked with the Vet Surgery and unfortunately it was not Amber.
There has been no sighting of her what so ever and I'm beginning to fear the worst, especialy after an evening "visit" from a very large fox a few weeks after she went missing.
