This dog has been taken to a vets but unfortunately he was not microchipped, he was an entire male, black and white border collie,very short coated. he will be at the vets for a couple of days to see if the owner comes forward if not he will go to the pet crematorium for a dignified farewell over to rainbow bridge..
I would just like say to the helper who collected him, thank you for caring xx

This will be heartbreaking news for someone but how lovely of the person volunteering to collect the body and taking it to the vets to check for a chip, at least the poor soul will be laid to rest - run free now x

This poor dog was reported to the council this morning but is still by the side of the road, a helper is now on her way to collect him and will take him to the vets in the morning to be scanned.
