Thanks Nik and Vick! This dog should not be hard to miss. Owner and I took Rosies twin Chardonay out to the area to jog peoples memories and have covered the area with posters-so much so that people were looking very suspiciously at us and we had to explain that the dog we were walking was not Rosie-everyone seems to be on the look out in the area and I hope it is just a matter of time before the owner gets a call.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

I live in W2 which is about 10 mins from Shepherds Bush and run through all the parks. I don't think this one will be easy to miss. I am informing everyone I work with too. Vicky x Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Please don't give up hope. I don't want to make anyone envious, as I was reunited with my dogs today. I received several false sightings, but they were nowhere near where they were stolen from, yet vigilance and networking of everyone across the country has led to a happy ending - even without chips, (they are going to be chipped first thing). Good luck with your search for Rosie, I sincerely hope she'll be home for Christmas.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

You can't go far with a Husky without someone noticing it, so I'll keep everything crossed and get my pooch on the case too! Good luck to the owner...Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

That was a mistake Huskyboy-on talking to Mayhew rescue they say they did not see him getting into a car-so may be closer than we think! The guy is described as Eastern European and in his forties,Sandy coloured longish hair-thanks for keeping an eye out Rosies twin is waiting at home for her sister.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

That's terrible! I'm a Siberian Husky owner in W10 and walk in the big scrubs, little scrubs, Kensington Gardens, Hyde park etc. I also go through the 'Bush (I'll be there tonight) so I'll keep my eyes peeled. Do you have any details of the car? Have you contacted the Police or TFL about getting access to CCTV footage in the area? It's a very distinctive dog and Huskies stick out, so if anyone says "I saw a Husky yesterday" I'll make sure my Wife and I ask all about it!Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Rosie and another siberian chewed their way out of their garden and were seen wandering by a helper from Mayhew animal sanctuary who immediately tried to round them up-she managed to grab hold of Rosie and a "good samaritan" offered to hold onto her whilst she grabbed the other dog-the" Good samaritan" then drove off with the dog!!!!!!Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
