Many thanks to everyone who has posted for their kind words.Thanks for that lovely little poem janiejewel1649 I'm not ashamed to say it made me cry.Its nice of people to take the time to post and it has helped me but I'm still feeling awful and it will take some time for it to pass.

I'm ulbertos owner my name is Neil.Thank you all for your kind words at this difficult time Gino was the kind gentleman who posted the email I sent to him.Yes he was very young to go to the bridge but all these posts have given me comfort.I'd also like to thank my friend Hayley her brother Steven and Hayley's friend Mandy for feeding him and trying to catch him while he was lost in their area.Sleep well little ulberto I only knew you for six months but I was very fond of you and will miss you greatly.Rip gone but never forgotten.xxx

Hi I'm afraid there has been very sad news regarding my missing dog ulberto he was hit with a car and died. Can i thank you for your help during all the times he was missing.I only had him for about six months but will miss him greatly and I'm very sad and down about him dying.

You could try places like rescues, RSPCA or try google. You might even be able to buy a fox trap at a reasonable price because they're not that big.

Why doesn't he want to do it?. Ulberto has been out there for some time now and needs to be caught while he's still ok. Can't any of the people who are feeding him lure him into a back garden and shut the gate on him etc? Maybe you could see if you could hire a trap yourself?

Not much to report really he's still missing but is being fed by several people in the area.I've mentioned to the dog warden that he will probably need trapped but he doesn't seem to want to do that.Last time he went missing that's what had to be done to capture him.

gunflash if he's coming at around the same time can your friend put her dogs in a safe place, leave the door open and go into another room, maybe put some bits of food just inside the front door to entice him inside and then up the hall so that he comes further into the house. If he comes near enough no calling his name, need to get onto the floor, turn your back on him and carefully throw some bits of food in his direction to get him to come nearer.

I haven't seen him but my friend has.He's coming to her house around dusk looking for food and she leaves him out some.She tried opening the door but he wouldn't come in.I'm going to take over his old bed the scent of that might entice him in.

Yes I still have it but problem was my friend has two Yorkshire terriers and I didn't want them getting out and causing more problems.If he appears again I will put them in another room and open the front door.

gunflash have you still got the info I sent you before on catching dogs? If this happens again just go and open the front door and go back in the house, don't speak to him or go towards him or he'll run off, let him just come in of his own accord.

I was over at my friends house yesterday and stayed over.When I opened the curtains this morning he was outside and I called to him but he ran away.I told the local dog warden and my friend has left him food and water outside her house.Let's hope he's found soon but at least he seems ok.

No I'm afraid there haven't been any sightings.The local dog warden has also been looking as well but has drawn a blank so far.Getting worried about him as he's very far from home.

He was a dog from dogs trust and was badly treated prior to me giving him a new home.Hes very timid and nervous and seems to have a compulsion to stray not knowing that its to his disadvantage to do so.He got through a small gap in the front door and i nearly caught him but he got away unfortunately.

How come he keeps going missing? 3 times in 6 months is an awful lot - is it the same circumstances each time? I do hope the little fella is found safe and unharmed x

Yes there are some wooded areas nearby.There is only one shop in the village and they don't have black bin bags just plastic bins which he wouldn't be able to reach.I just hope someone is helping him and that he hasn't gone very far.

He might be hiding away out of the sun during the day gunflash and coming out late evening and early morning. Are there any parks, wooded areas etc as they will have shady places. He'll need to find water and will be looking for food so poster anywhere like that. Are there any shops nearby? He might try to get into their bins to look for food. If that area has black bin bags find out what day is collection day as people put them out the night before and he might be around them looking for something to eat. I hope someone catches him and gets him scanned.

No sadly its not anywhere near there its approximately 38 mile from where I live and it was at a friends house and sadly he went missing over there before.I'm worried about him in this heat so hopefully he won't have gone too far I'm going over tomorrow to look for him first thing.

Perhaps this little sweetie should have a tracking device fitted to his collar, it will probably work out cheaper than the printer ink for the posters... Hope you find him very soon...

Yeh I've now updated his details was lost in bt47 postcode area.I have submitted a couple of newer photos since his coat has grown quite a bit.Thanks for relisting him hopefully he will turn up soon.

Hi just to let everyone know ulberto was found yesterday and I collected him today from a local boarding kennels.Thanks to everyone for their help I'm going to email the co ordinator now to let her know he's been found again and to change his status again.

Hi Sue, yes gunflash got in touch and he came up to my area and the building site to look for ulberto and to leave food for him, Ulberto hasn't been back to my house in 24 hours (got some food here last night then ran back to the building site) so I am really hoping that this means he is back with his owner! It was horrible weather here last night and today, would hate the wee dog to be sleeping out in that. Hopefully hear back from gunflash with good news!

Hi, ulberto has been outside my house for the past ten days, i've been feeding him but can't get near him, he is too frightened. I think he sleeps in the building site. I've left messages with the dog warden, animal sanctuary and psni. I just tried to phone and text you, please get back to me and i will see what is the best way to help get him home!
