  • Other Info Door was accidently left open to hutch and both escaped, noticed at 8 am 17/02/2013. Brain (Male) Has been found safe and well, FEMALE 1 year old is still missing, Please look out for her

I posted the found one,i didnt see the ferret but was told about it today,the ferret was a creamy browny colour and was very friendly,it was wandering around one of the loading bays at Burnley General Hospital bb10 2pq, one of the Porters put it in a box as it was wandering under waggons and vans then he contacted the RSPCA who colected it yesterday afternoon

Thanks Megmog, Will pass ono your suggestion, However they have only had the male approx 2 weeks so there isn't really much of a bond with them yet, Will suggest it to them as it may be worth a go x

so glad you have found one of your ferrets. I have 2 of my own and would be devastated if I lost them. Is there any chance you could take the male one in a carrier or on a lead back to the area he was found, it might flush out your little female. I know my 2 are inseparable. Good luck and fingers crossed for you x

Might be worth them asking neighbours to check under sheds etc, asuming they haven't been picked up by someone, ferrets don't tend to go verry far when they escape, often just in to neighbouring gardens, would be worth putting their carry box out with some bedding and food in and leaving there cage door open, as sometimes they will come back to eat.
