- Found by a lady three villages away at 2 o'clock this morning having, it seems, run for miles down the A10. A salutary reminder about correct microchip details, keeping doors shut and training dogs properly, especially ones which are known to run and run. Thank god this one wasn't harmed.

- This isn't my dog - she belongs to the family of my daughter's boyfriend. She's chipped to her old owner. I've advised that the current owners inform both old owner and chip company asap.
