Thanks for posting, Hana. We're so pleased that she's been found.

Thanks for everyones messages and help. We are very happy to have found meg. A lady has picked her up and now looking after her, apparently Meg is sleeping in front of her fire now.

Great just looked at my emails and owners had replied saying the same!

Just as things looked bleak - owners are from Berkshire - when we get a message that Meg's been found. We'll let you know the story when we get it.

I have emailed http://www.bgvcommunity.com/ to ask for some publicity and maybe some local help. Do we know if she escaped from home or went missing on a walk ? Wish I were nearer to help. Good luck everyone, Wurzel was home safely today Meg next x

I've texted owner to say I'm happy to come and scout round and put posters up. Astbury Mere (known locally as Congleton Beach) and that's full of dog walkers to pass info onto.Last edited: 2013-01-01 22:35:32 by Sarah W

Thanks, Pixies peeps. We'd no sooner told them about one found one, when we had to tell them about Meg !! They've asked for someone called Fred to assist. I also posted it on the chair's FB page. I'm a member myself and the trouble is that there's rarely someone local.
pixies peeps
Has anyone contacted http://www.bgvclub.co.uk to spread the word and help
Shereen
I have only sent scenting advice so, to the co ord who picks this up ..please could you send the general advice.x

Thanks, everyone. SarahW, from what's been said it looks as though West Heath, Holmes Chappel Road and Back Lane seem to be the areas. You might want to take a note of the owners' mobile no in case you want to text them.
Sarah W
I can go out to Congleton and area tomorrow with my PBGV. If someone can direct me where to go. I'm on the DL Northwest FB page.
Shereen
ill send scenting instructions over now SuzeeBee...

Need to get posters up around where she went missing ASAP. Posters can be printed off from here click on View Poster. Can she find her way home from where she is lost or is she in a strange area? As she isn't microchipped make sure that vets, dog warden and rescue kennels have a photograph and good description as they may not recognize the breed. Could scenting instructions be sent to Megs owners.I hope she will be back home very soon. Stay safe little Meg x
Cheshire Jen
@Nik Sorry I don't know if the owners are experienced pbgv owners.
Unknown
Cheshire Jen, do yuo know if the owners are experienced pbgv owners ? There is a club member who should be providing some support.
Cheshire Jen
Spoke to owner as my father had possibly seen Meg whislt he was driving earlier. The owner said they have had a few other possible sightings of Meg in West Heath area of Congleton. Everytime the owners have come and looked there is no sighn to confirm if these sightings are Meg. If the dog my father saw earlier was Meg she was running down "Back Lane" from Holmes Chapel Road between 1pm - 2pm.
Owner said that Meg may not come to a stranger but has now been missing 24 hours so will now be hungry.
Will spread the word via Facebook & twitter.
Hope she's back home soon.
