Please anyone reading this, if you have purchased a Pom without papers from the free ads, please check your dog against the descriptions of all of our listed stolen/missing Poms. You never know you could have a stolen dog! The stolen Telford poms are all DNA sampled so that identity can be proven. If you have any doubt please contact the owner or Doglost immediately. Hi, I had my Pomeranian dog taken last August. Someone e-mailed me to say that a Pomeranian dog had been handed in to Battersea.I contacted Battersea, and was told that because of the distance involved(I live in the north-west)it was highly unlikely that he was my dog. When I was persistent and e-mailed again I was told that there were no Pomeranians there????? Could it be that they have now rehomed this dog and dont want any mither?? In the event that this dog is in fact my dog what is my position now? Could anyone advise me???? I am under Pomeranian PR8 North Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

I never thought about them having no net access, but we are all really concerned about these little ones and want them back safe, I never realized so many dogs were stolen in the uk thats why I put a link to you on my web site, Most pom owners with sites are still sending out emails, and phoning each other but no sightings, nothing. The pom folks are just wanting to see these little one back at home safe. regards AndreaLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Cheristar, when the owners have any information they ring me or if I have any I ring them and post it here. Not everyone is a computer literate as us.....and also as they are rural they may not have a library with net access, they may not even have a local library and rely on a mobile one! All of us at Doglost are concerned about the wellbeing of any dog that is stolen or missing whether it be a pedigree, crossbreed, pup or an old timer. All angles have been covered with regard to the media, I personally sent emails to all national and local newspapers, local radio and television. The only one so far to cover the story was the Shropshire Star. If they dont take up the story, there isnt much we can do.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

are the owners working along side dog lost and dog theft action? whats the latest news on the poms? Internet access is available in librarys. whats happening here? someone somewhere must have seen them, or heard them, they are not a quiet breed, they would have been barking there heads off, with regards to wizpoms posting, yes they must be fed at regular intervals, I hope they are safe warm and fed . cheristar poms scotlandLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Let's hope that if details of the theft are published in the main Dog papers this week, it might lead to some positive info regarding the missing Poms. The younger ones in particular could have become seriously traumatized by being taken from their home and consequently they could be at risk of developing Hypoglycaemia especially if whoever took them has no thought for their welfare or no experience of the breed. I bet you all these dogs were in Ireland within 12hrs of them being stolen. Just what the puppy farmers want, nice small Poms. We've had Mittel Spitz size Poms in German Spitz rescue for some time now, masquerading as G Spitz. Pom Rescue can't home them easily so we take them.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

I have included a picture of my little girl on my web-site notice for people to have an idea what she is like. You are welcome to download Fly's picture to circulate as a Pom similar to Buffy if you think it would help. Just go to http://groups.msn.com/PlayalongPomeranians and right click on the photo ...it is on my Welcome page below the photo of Fitz. Hope this helps. Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

I have also been searching papers, adverts etc on line. The only one that 'sticks out' is petville international who seem to deal with many many different types of dogs. The link takes me to the main shop in surry but not sure if this is the only one. Maybe someone nearer knows the place. So far no private adverts but I shall keep my fingers busy as i 'walk the web'. Just come off the phone to the owners, I have read all the messages posted on here to them. They are truly thankful for all your messages of support. A witness has been found, they saw a dark Ford Mondeo saloon, M Registration parked across the driveway from 8pm onwards. The occupants were two youths. Info is very slim unfortunately. Can I suggest that everyone takes the information of each dog, put it in an email and forward it to everyone in your address books. Dont forget to tell your friends to forward to everyone in their address book and post it around the net everywhere. COME ON LETS MAKE THESE POMS SO HOT THAT THEY WILL BURN PEOPLES FINGERS!!!Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
