So glad Rascal has been found and so lucky the finder heard him and got the help needed. His family are over the moon to have him back. Lets hope he can help heal the hurt from loosing Angel (Westie that went missing with him - RIP sweetgirl)

Just read on Facebook that rascal has been found!! Just spoke to the lady who was looking after him when he went missing, he was found 20 ft down a manhole and apart from being very dirty and thin hes otherwise ok! X

Have sent an email to Leigh dogs and cats home for them to look out for Rascal, Explained about chip etc.

Also sent message to rspca manchester and salford and manchester dogs home

Poor Rascal... he's probably traumatised after what he's been through. Hope he's found very soon, and so sorry his companion was found dead from a RTA

Spoke to owner, Rascal is between 8 and 10 years old. As far as is known He isnt chipped,(However he was gained from a family member after they passed away so he could be) but details not held. He has had a recent hair cut and looks like there are lines running through his fur
He isnt wearing a collar and escaped from Horsham street area of m6 (Langworthy road)
Apparently a little small for a Golden retriever. Was lost along with a White westie who sadly was found deceased after RTA (RIP Angel xx)

Sorry to see oldies missing. I’ve found that it helps to print out an A4 sheet of paper cut into business-card size slips, each with brief details and your phone number on. Give them to all the local dog walkers, postmen etc. you meet. Then if someone has news when they’re out and about they don’t need to find a poster or log on to the site to contact you.
