Oh my word what an amazing story.I do hope they manage to find who the little dog was who was buried,at least he had someone to care enough to give him a burial.

I am following up details of the dog who was buried.Have spoken to Scott's girlfriend and Scott had said that the remains looked like Jimmy.I will update as soon as I have more info.

I just had a call from Gill, a dog walker who has been helping in the search. Couldn't believe my ears! She has been talking with owners and the body they buried had very little left to identify after being damaged by traffic, so we don't have enough info to be clear on what it might have been. It was right in the area that one might expect Jimmy to be so no wonder his people thought it was him.

Thank you, Sable. This is very good news for Jummy's owners. However, it does mean that there is another Border Terrier owner who may hear some bad news.

JIMMY IS SAFE

It's unbelievable, but true. We got a call 2 hours ago from a lovely lady called Shella saying she found him in her garden. She managed to get him to come for food and she popped a lead on him. She then got him some food and water and called us. We drove up thinking is was probably another Jimmy, but it was him. We got a very warm welcome from him and he's now sleeping in his favourite place.

Sadly, we buried another wee doggy that we thought was Jimmy. It was the same colour and the same size but it was very difficult to identify. We had no reason not to think it was him.

He has a little limp and is off to the vet in 1 hour. When he came home he grabbed a toy and wanted to play, UNREAL!!

A happy ending.

I do not have the details of what happened but in my post yesterday, it was reported he had been hit by a car. Just very sad he was not found alive. Owners really did pull out all the stops to find him.

No sightings of Jimmy yesterday, but there was a report of him being hit by a car the day before. He had bolted off after the incident, but he may have an injury or may be still hiding after the fright of it.

Jimmy has been just seen in Winton Park and in a field of horses nearby.

Emailed fliers for owners. Lots of sightings.Winton Drive 8am today.Frogton Terrace and road around 4pm yesterday.Stable bar-Mortonhill.
