Please note that the bill has now been paid in full - thank you to everybody who so kindly donated to her medical bills. I can confirm that Tipsy is now moving around on four legs, albeit in a comical manner, is being spoilt to death by the vet nurses and has learned that by screaming, everyone comes running!! Gorgeous girl xx

has anyone done a leaflet drop in the area she was found to try and locate her owner as I understand it is thought she lives in the area. If owned by an elderly person they may not have access to internet etc

Thanks for the update, everything crossed that she makes a full recovery x

Thank you so much for this Doglost! Sometimes the kindness of people completely overwhelms me. I have just received a phone call from a lovely lady in Leicester who is going to pay the remainder of the bill in full. We have raised (with Sandie's donation from doglost) £170 and this lovely lady is going to pay the rest. Thank you so much to everybody you have restored my faith in humans and I am totally sobbing my eyes out! xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Rugby Pawprints are appealing for help in the cost of treatment for this little girl. She has a shattered pelvis but vets are confident that this can be fixed. Under the council policy for strays, they will not cover the cost of her operation which is around £600. If anyone can help towards the cost of this vets bill we would really appreciate it. Donations can be made direct to Your Vets in Coventry - please state this is for Tipsy via Rugby Pawprints - Tel: 02476 594242. We have instructed vets to go ahead with the op and this is scheduled for Wednesday. Tipsy will then be placed into the care of one of the veterinary nurses for her post-op recuperation which is a long haul of around six weeks cage rest. RP have struggled with funds recently but are determined to meet the cost of this op. Any donation, no matter how small, would be very gratefully appreciated.
