could she be caught up in the woods somewhere, did she have a collar on when she went missing? One of our dogs went missing with a length of rope attached and was caught up in the undergrowth. Dolly 6.2.05

The woods in question are across a field, running between the cobbled section of Hocker Lane and Birtles Hall, Over Alderley.

Have spoke to owners and this is CHESHIRE not Gloucs. Last night several reports of a dog barking, owners went out to scour the area they also heard the barking coming from the woods. Have advised owner of maybe checking ponds in the area, also lighting a tempting BBQ feast in that area.

If the GL12 part of the postcode is correct the location is north of Chipping Sodbury in an area between where the M4 & M5 meet according to my computer map search.

Hi jackielb, lost labs was not the originator of this post....and my reply was only trying to hopefully unravell the Q from Watson....possibly wrongly.....as you show....but with good intention. Have just researched and found OLD Alderley features in the addy..this is def in Cheshire....yes?

Cheshire and Gloucestershire do not border one another, they are several counties apart. Are you sure you are not getting mixed up between Alderley Edge (Cheshire) and Wooton under Edge (Gloucs)?

Hi Watson, strange one this, yes in South West, geographically, despite being in Cheshire, the nearest town is Wooton Under Edge which is in Glous.......confusing eh? Either way another missing from the Cheshire borders.......
