Spoken to the dog warden today, it looks like this lovely girl has found a new home already. The DW has promised to call me if this does not happen.

I agree with you to keep asking about her these people are so busy with all the unwanted, abused stray dogs it's easy for one to slip through the net and it's best to be safe than sorry xx

Have rung the council again as no one called me back. The lady said the dog warden was out but was aware of my call regarding this lovely girl. I have been assured that they will re home her, she will not be pts. I have asked for the dog warden to call me anyway just to confirm this is the case, I have still said I woud re home her if need be.

I spoke to the council yesterday regarding the possiblity of re homing this lovely girl but the only dog they had on the register had been found on the 14th - is the date on our page corrct. They have promised to call me back today so will keep you updated on progress.

Do we know what is happening to this beautiful girl yet - if she is not claimed / rehomed and there was a likelyhood she was going to be pts then I will take her until a new loving home can be found for her. Can't bear the thought of anything awful happening to her. How do we keep a check on her?

she looks a lovely girl and from her photo well cared for. maybe she was picked up and then dumped. media coverage is a good idea as hopefully her family are looking for her. if not claimed i hope she finds a lovely new caring home.

Appalled at the depth of depravity of the "so called human being". Really hope someone has their registration number. Any CCTV's in the area?

Whoever saw this happen did they manage to get a car registration. Where will this beautiful girl go as she is obviously not wanted, can't bear the thought that she will not have the chance of finding a new forever home

Please ensure that you notify your local Dog Warden and the local Police Station - in Scotland you MUST inform your local Police Station and if possible contact the Dog Warden also.
The found dog may have a Microchip or a Tattoo - please have the dog scanned and checked for a tattoo at a vet's so that owners may be contacted as soon as possible.
