It may be worth contacting Scottish Terrier Emergency Care Scheme again. I don't think they have a re-homing co-ordinator in your area, but you could try Mrs. Norris, Treasurer on 01613 305240. Miss Owen knows lots of Scottie people too 01582 832205, she's a breeder & may put you in touch with groomers too. Any news at your end JMO? Hamish will be looking more grown up now - poor little chap, I hope he's home soon.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Details of Hamish have appeared on the Scottish terrier Breeders and Exhibitors Assoc. Breed year book which most breeders and exhibitors of Scotties around the world will receive. Hope this helps. Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

I would normally print them for you but my printer is out of action, though of course I hope Hamish is home before then. take Care Nikki (see Jesters page) xx Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

any chance of getting a copy of article scanned in and e mailed to us at admin@doglost.co.uk or better still to send one to us for our cuttings book? It all helps to attract advertisers onto the site to help maintain running costs.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

I have added a note to the front page of the Pewsey Carnival site (pewsey-carnival.org.uk) to help raise awareness. Also noticed that Hamish was on the front page of the Marlborough Gazette today. Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

I'm glad to hear that the police are treating it as a crime. Hope they do more for you then they did us. Local police (same area as yourself) took 10 days to get back to us! By that time anything they could have done was too late. (Lilly 1.3.05) Much luck in your search. Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

hello - my first chance to help - I live in the same village as Hamish. Have spoken to Hamish's mum Francis - she seems to have the area well covered with posters etc - the police are coming tomorrow - thankfully are treating it as a crime. Have emailed the two dog weeklys with the details and contacted a friend who is dog warden. Will keep in touch with her to see if there is anything else I can do.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Has the owner contacted the Breeder for assistance?Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

I have Scottie contacts all over the place so will forward Hamish's Poster to them, and also the Scottish Terrier Emergency Care Scheme who have Reps all over the Country. Try and get the press involved as Scottie's are not that common. Also contact any Canine Beauticians and they are a trimmed breed and they may find him that way. Do you knwo where the starys go in that area? Scoties don't take kindly to starngers so he may have been picked up by a Dog Warden. Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
