Otley would come under Leeds Dog Wardens area so worth checking with them

There is missing male whippet/cross from Otley, West Yorkshire on national pet register described as male missing 24th July. Have sent a message to them to alert to this but no reply yet. Otley isnt too far from Bradford !! Maybe chip details not updated if moved house etc ??

call back from Bradfrd Dw to say checked back records for a while and no reportes of this dog as missing from anyone in bradford.
Think we have done all possible to reunite this fellow. Onnce his treatment is finished he will be up for rehoming.

Spoken to registered owner who says sold Sam on to a lady in Bradfrd. Asking his grandaughter if knows details and will let me know. Have phoned bradford DW to see if any Sam whippets reported as missing could be a while ago.

Managed to trace another adrees for a person iwith same name but now in Pontefract. Phoning local dogwarden he was able to inform me that a person with same name & address was listed as having a feamle whippet missing last year. He gave me a mobile he had on record.

Text sent and answer recieved that he is owner of Sam. i will be ringing later to find out more deatils to this fellow a long way from home. CJ.

Picked up by Tonbridge & malling dogwarden who found a chip but could not get any response from number listed in Bradford Yorkshire.
Dog is now at kennels receiving treatment for a few minor problems.

Asking doglost to help the DW phoned yesterday to see if I could maybe trace owner. CJ

Please ensure that you notify your local Dog Warden and the local Police Station - in Scotland you MUST inform your local Police Station and if possible contact the Dog Warden also.
The found dog may have a Microchip or a Tattoo - please have the dog scanned and checked for a tattoo at a vet's so that owners may be contacted as soon as possible.
