BRILLIANT NEWS welcome home Ben sending you a massive big hug and cuddle. :) x
Maggie
I've spoken to Bens family who are OVER THE MOON to have Gorgeous Ben home. He is fine and very pleased to be home again. They will be taking him to the vets to have him checked over! He was snoring on the sofa when i phoned lol
I have copied and pasted how he was found of his FB page:

"Sorry for the delay guys.. had trouble with the computer yesterday when i was writing the story!
But here it is for you all:
First things first is that we got a call from a lad on my mums mobile saying that had had found Ben and we could come pick him up from his home in Openshaw. We asked no questions and my brother and mum shot down to the house (firstly going to the wrong house in which we got a few strange looks off the woman that answered the door!). When we arrived we saw a group of lads stood with a white dog, as soon as we got out the car and saw him, we knew it was Ben. The lads handed him over with no hassle, and with some dog food they still had left over. We them gave them the reward of £50 and we thought this was going to be the end of the story, but it wasn't, and as soon as we gave them the money, a woman walked round the corner asking if we was the owners and saying that the lads shouldn't deserve the money, as she had been looking after him for the week he had been missing. This then got very out of hand, and the woman started crying and ringing the police because she felt threatened by the lads, and she thinks she should have the money. To calm everything down, we took the woman home, and soon found out that she had become very attached to Ben. She had been buying him dog food, a bed to sleep in, was paying on buying him a collar etc, and was being very well looked after. She had done a great job of this, and she said she found Ben when she was walking on a park near morrisons and a man had found Ben. He was going to ring the RSPCA but she said she would take him in and look after him because she was scared that he was going to be put down if the owners wouldn't have owned up to him. The lads on the other hand who lived around the corner from her, had seen the posters in the shops we had posted on there street, and they had seen that she had taken him in. This is when they tried countless times to try get him back, by saying that he was a mates dogs etc but she was having none of it because she knows what they are like. The lads even said to us, they tried to show her the poster we had put up everywhere, but she believed they were from the internet. So in the end, the lads went round when the woman wasn't in, and spoke to the husband/boyfriend of her, and said it was their mates dog. He handed over the dog, and this is when we got the phone call. When the woman returned home, she went out looking for Ben (who she had been calling 'Oscar' for a week!), this is when we all meet at that house!

I know this is a very confusing story because there are two sides to the story. The lads who wanted to get us the dog back, and the woman who just thought the dog was homeless, so she kept him. She said he was an amazing dog, and we thanked her for looking after him, but from what we gathered.. if it wasn't for the lads, we would of never got Ben back as she was too attached to him. So we thanked them both by giving them a reward.
The best part of the story is that Ben is safe and sound at his real home now, and he will be treated like a star here!"
