Update from Dogue de Bordeaux Rescue....

After a lot of heartache and sleepless night I am pleased to inform you all that Skye is safe and well and a much loved part of the new family who bought her unknowingly from a heartless woman and her boyfriend in Scarborough 3 days ago. After a massive campaign on facebook Dog lost and pre loved the new owners were alerted and contacted us today. We are happy to inform that she will be staying with her new family and an official adoption form has been completed.

The police are still involved in this case regarding the fosterer who illegally sold her.


A massive thank you goes out to all involved.

So happy that SKYE is going to be loved like she deserves to be. So glad also that the person who bought SKYE came forward as that shows that they are lovely people who were willing to give her up for her to be with the rightful people who she was headed for. Bless you and let us know how she is doing from time to time. xx

dreadful behaviour of the so called foster carer...i hope they sign a contract and can be charged with something.
So pleased that Skye has been found, and allowed to stay with a family who obviously want her, hope she settles in well to her forever home x

The rescue have visited Skye and made the decision in Skye's best interests that the family who bought her can keep her and go through the rescue adoption process. Happy forever home Skye

Can we name and shame the fosterers so no one else is duped into believing they have found a safe foster?? Disgusting individuals. Hope she's found safe.

There seems to be a few dogs of late gone missing / sold, whilst being in foster care. Who are these people fostering these dogs? Are they proper companies / organisations? If so, we need to know who they are so people can avoid using them.

Skye is a Dogue de Bordeaux rescue dog who was SOLD yesterday on preloved whilst in foster care.
She is believed to be in the Doncaster area.
She has been reported as STOLEN to the Police and the MICROCHIP company
Whoever bought her will have done so in good faith and the rescue appeals for you to contact them to discuss her.
The rescue would be prepared to work through their adoption process with whoever has bought her if this proves to be the best outcome for Skye.
