  • Lost In Region North West
  • Lost In Post Area BB2
  • Date Found 19 Jun 2012
  • Where Found Poppy has been found and, in the time she was missing, was re-homed. She will be very missed by all our family and friends but she is happy, safe and well cared for in her new home.
  • Date Reunited
  • Other Info She's a very, very friendly little dog who will approach anyone, regardless of age or gender. She also has a tendency to try and go into houses/cars if the door is left open. At the time she went missing she was wearing a thick, pink collar - although it easily may have come off as her neck is larger than her head. She also makes grumbling noises when she is happy or distressed.

Yeah the dog called Nipper on the Homeless Hounds website was Poppy and she has since been re-homed, which is sad but I'm glad she is safe and happy (I had all the worst case scenarios going through my mind when we didn't know where she was). Whoever her new owners are are very lucky - she's such a brilliant little dog :)

Oh how sad, let us know how you get on, hope she gets hone to original owners.

Looks very like 'Nipper' could indeed be this lady. Will contact the rescue that take the dogs from the pound & move them to rescue places directly as Kennels are unlikely to give out any details. xxxLast edited: 2012-06-19 18:39:04 by Witchy-poos

Hippy chick /Vicky has found a possible match for Poppy on the Aspen Valley Kennels /Homeless Hounds website and unfortunately it says the dog (called Nipper on there) has since been rehomed. Vicky has spoken to the owners daughter and the family are contacting Aspen Valley to confirm if the found has actually been rehomed or has been sent to a rescue.
