We didn't do much! We gave it our best shot but although we started with a good ground scent it became patchy and Wispa had to rely on air scent which was present but gusting from different direction. We were puzzling which way to go when the call came from a man who had seen Darla peeking through a gate and had seen a poster. By the time we caught up with everyone else, they had Darla safe. Many thanks to Sue and her husband from Team Beagle for their help today. Dogwalkers and dog warden have also been out searching but it was a poster and an observant member of the public that helped her get home today.

we would love to say a huge huge thank you to everyone who have helped to bring Darla home safe and sound. Especially to Anne from AMK9 and phoebe. She is very dirty and smelly and a little subdued but is very happy to be home!! thank you we cannot believe how much support and help we have had from people.

I hope Darla's safe and I'll keep a look out for her (I live nearby). If it's the dog walker I think it is she really should be reported to someone.

Spoke to owners father, who the dog now lives with. A sniffer dog has been out today but could not find a scent of her (due to bad weather) He has contacted the DW and the Police and I have suggested local radio and also to inform local vets (send a poster) I will check on certain sites.

Have spoken with owner and advised her to leave an item of clothing at place Darla went missing from. DW has been informed and a lot of people have been searching the wood. Weather has been awful so we are hoping that Darla found a sheltered nook somewhere and stayed put.
