Bless you Trish O promise I do keep and eye out for both your babies. Often tweet them too.

I was fairly sure Roxy wasn't but not sure enough to not contact you. Promise we will keep looking xx
Thank you for still thinking our Lacey. I've checked Roxy the poundie and it's not our girl
I rang and left a message for the owners....I keep and eye out for these two I promise xx
Might be worth checking Roxy Poundie? She is similar but could well not be your girl xx

All xd for some good news soon.
I really feel for these babies owner....I can't cope with one who has 'only' been lost to us for 18 months....

I can only share and tweet and keep looking BUT will get some awareness back by doing them a Thunderclap xx

Thank you for posting Seeks, the owner has checked and sadly not Lacey xx
Its a huge long shot and I hate sending anyone on shadow chase but....

This little one has been in rescue for the last 2 years having been taken out the pound after her 7 days....

Not all rescues scan, and not all dog wardens do (which is seriously scary!! I so wish the get scanning petition had worked as Best Practice isn't good enough)

Is there any chance this could be your baby? If you asked them they might be able to tell you or cross reference a chip number?

I really hate sending anyone on shadows but there are some very good pics and just please check its not her x

Tweeeting for them x

Beggars belief how two large dogs can simply disappear - someone must know something! Do hope there is good news soon.

Woozel and Lacey have been missing 2 years today, the owner is desperate for some news, please share again x
Bless her....hate to think what she has been through xx

Great news on Maisie and I don't think anyone on this site will ever give up looking for your other two dogs. Stay safe Maisie xx
Our new girl Maisie is settling in very well..It's still hard to believe she's not our Lacey. She's a beautiful girl and is here to stay. They are so alike, both have a slight umbilical hernia and both have 9 nipples!! They look identical and do the same "tricks"!! We were absolutely convinced that Maisie was Lacey right up to the time that she came into season. Maisie has been checked over by the vet. She is under weight by about 8 kilos. She has antibiotics for her wounds and a special shampoo to help her coat. Despite all of this she is a wonderful little girl. We just want Lacey and Woozel home safe now. We wont give up looking!! xx
At least this girl Maisie now has a happy loving home, god only knows what she has been through.....sad that Lacey and Woozel are still missing, fingers crossed they are both found safe soon xx

Lost for words really other than I hope it all turns out OK eventually. But I bet this girl is so very pleased to have landed on her paws to a kind and loving home. I doubt that she has ever been shown kindness before by the condition you had commented on.I'm sure she will reward you with loyalty and companionship xx

Yes she will be getting checked by the vet. she was scanned several times over for a chip when they thought it was Lacey and could not find one.

DogLostClaireC - Area Volunteer, Buckinghamshire
Have to ask the same question as Shereen has? Will you be getting her vet checked and re-scanned?
Glad she has a home but wonder where poor Lscey is?
OH NO!!!! this cant be!....is this definitely a season....or other problems???

I have spoken to Lacey's owner regarding a match for her other dog Woozel.
I am having to put Lacey back into "lost" as the dog they thought was Lacey isn't! The owner's were convinced that this dog was Lacey as this dog was doing everything that Lacey does and has slotted back into the family BUT this dog has come into to season so is definiately not Lacey as Lacey is spayed!!
However "Maisie" as she is known will be staying with the family xx
The search continues for Lacey and Woozel.
So please that Lacey has been found and is home safe after all this time. Bless her - it sounds like she's been through the wars. All crossed that Woozel is home soon too. Welcome home Lacey - stay safe and close now lovely girl. x

Keep this girl close in lots of hugs and tlc because it sounds as though she will have had an ordeal somewhere along the line. Stay safe beautiful girl.

So pleased your beautiful girl is safely back home. Hope her wounds heal quickly. Keeping everythng crossed for the safe return of Woozel.
WHOOPS! Meanmt to say Deactivate, bot reactivate..
So pleased you have her back home where she belongs and fingers crossed Woozel will be joining her soon. Have you contacted the police about her injuries, just in case she was used as bait in dog fighting? Maybe they could look at CCTV and find out where she came from. I'm sure any information they have will help fight this disgusting "sport".
Really happy that you have Lacey back, but sorry to see she has been allegedly beaten a,d has scars over her body. Hope she hasn`t been used as bait. Nice to know she still has the good nature she had when she wemt missing. PS I didn`t know you could remove "chip" or reactivate it either. Stay safe now beautriful Lacey:-) Sending healing vibes for your scars, and other injuries. Stay safe now lovely Lacey:-)xxx Please give Lacey a gentle (HUG) from mexxx
