Kimmybear. I think you are right, Ice is still with Shona in spirit, and helping her. TALAKAI Thank you for updating us all on shona`s progress, so pleased that she is doing so well, and I expect it helps to have another canine around her.:-)xxx
Talakai
Update .....Shona continues to do well , she's far happier in the company of canines than humans but curiosity sometmes gets the better of her and she investigates a little . She does not have a vicious bone in her body , and despite her fear will allow a harness to be put on , though she hasn't quite mastered how to be walked on a lead yet . There's another little girl at raystede , a female GSD who lost her Sister ( both 7 ) last month , it's hoping that Shona and this girl will be able to be kept together , they seem to have found some comfort in one another , she still loves Robbie the Lurcher though ;)xx

I have a feeling Ice is helping her sister from above. God bless them both, Ice and Shona, who will be reunited again one day. So pleased Shona has made a friend. I wonder if they could stay together when rehomed? x

Talakai. Thrilled that Shona is making progress, and she has made a new doggy friend. Keep it up Shona. We are still rooting for you sweetheart:-)xxx Keep us posted.

Talakai. Please dont think you have let Ice down. You are not responsible for other people`s actions, as in this case allegedly letting these poor dogs out on purpose. Try to be positive and think of all the good that you and the other ladies are doing by helping other Huskies and Husky crosses. PS We took on a rescue cat, who was very nervous, though not nasty, and was told by our vet that a kitten (Not an adult cat) would help: it did. You never know this could be of help to Shona`s yet to be her owners, if they have or could have a puppy. Just a thought.
Talakai
Thank you for everyone's lovely messages , I wasn't actually Ice or Shona's owner , in fact they haven't got an owner as such . They were rehomed by somebody who really didn't have a clue and when she found she couldn't cope we think she opened the door and let them out on purpose . I with 3 other lovely ladies run a rescue for huskies and husky crosses , we tried so hard to catch and help these little girls . We take comfort in knowing that Shona is safe and is showing signs of trusting humans , she's in Raystede now , a wonderful place that will rehabilitate her . We can't help feeling that we let ice down but we promise to do the very best for your beautiful sister . RIP sweet girl xx
Laura

So sorry to see yet another railway victim. My thoughts and prayers are with her owners at this time. Am sure that Shona will come right with her rehab, patience and lots of tlc. Just give her time. Sending her owners absent healing and loads of comforting hugs for their grief. RIP+++ One day Ice you will be reunited with Shona, and your family and cross Rainbow Bridge together, never to be parted, and where no harm can come to you, because Jesus will be watching over you. I can just see you in your Angel wings now. What a beauty! A candle is burning for you and Shona. God Blessx

That's done me. I am so upset and crying my eyes out. I cannot believe another poor baby has met with this fate and to read what has happened to both these dogs really is heartbreaking. Ice is safe now and hopefully will be able to help Shona from her place in God's arms, up above. God bless you both. xx

It is with much regret that I have to announce that poor Ice didn't make the journey to join her sister Shona . There has been confirmation from national rail that ice has become another victim to the railway lines . We are all heartbroken at the rescue that we didn't get to ice in time , but we promise you little girl with all our hearts and souls that we will take good care of your beautiful sister . Please watch over her , she's already making progress , so sorry you were taken before we could help you . Run free princess and wear your silver harness with pride :'( x

update on post below.... location is roughly a quarter mile from Redcar British Steel Station on the Saltburn-Middlesbrough line , heading towards Middlesbrough.
Maxine
I have been INFORMED of a dog that matches the description of Ice, unfortunately laying near the railway track between Grangetown Signal Box and Redcar Ore Terminal Junction. It is essential that you inform British Transport Police who I am sure will retrieve the animal, under NO circumstances should you venture near the lines yourself. I appreciate that this will be an upsetting post, and indeed i hope it is not ICE, but please act responsibly in response.
Talakai
Thank you so much . Shona , Ice's sister is missing her and they desperately need to be reunited . Their story is heartbreaking :(
