So glad you have Paddy back and I completely understand your frustration and for the sake of other lost dogs I am glad you are taking it further and complaining. I hope you get reimbursed but nothing will give you back those sleepless nights.

I am so pleased you have Paddy home. Liz xx

I established that RIDGEBACKS sighted near Seacroft Hospital were ones that were with their rightful owner so was understandably dissapointed 1 of them was not PADDY after all>>Then yesterday afternoon completely out of the blue got phone call from Rescue Kennels 30 miles away from where Paddy was stolen from+they toldme that they had had PADDY for past 2 weeks+he had been brought in by Wakefield Council dog warden after being found wandering streets in Wakefield>>This incompetent warden had failed to find his Microchip+was only when 1 of workers at kennels saw paddy on this site they scanned him properly+found chip+contacted me yesterday afternoon>I am obviously furious with sheer incompetence of this Dog Warden who ultimately caused me unnecessary worry+stress for past 2 weeks as well as making me incur council+kennelling costs of almost £200>>Needless to say i have taken this up with Wakefield Council+am waiting for their response>>Thanks to all who were searching for Paddy who is very happy to be home despite him being covered in bites+having nasty ear infection>>Regards>>Gary

Have taken a poster for security staff at the hospital- they were aware Paddy is still missing and are on the look out for him both in the hospital grounds and on walks in the valley.
No further sightings reported.

I spoke to security at hospital in person last sunday+they were not able to tell me very much>>I was up in Primrose Valley yesterday looking for PADDY and was told of a sighting of PADDY by a Dogwalker 2-3 days ago>>I feel i am very close to finding him,i just need as many people walking in Primrose Valley at different times of day+night to spot him>>If Lou could drop off poster at Hospital today i would appreciate that>>If someone should see him call police first as Police stn only 5 mins drive from there+then call me as i am 30 mins drive away>>If person-people who have Paddy TRY INSISTING HE IS THEIR DOG THEN JUST CALL POLICE ANYWAY AS MICRO-CHIP SCAN WILL PROVE OTHERWISE>>Thanks everybody

I used to live near here and know the Valley area well. I'll share the info on Facebook and will get out there today. When we're the last sightings? X

stinkdog1- Lou here- I don't usually walk my dog in that area but can go there tomorrow.
Have spoken to security at Seacroft Hospital- they have no further sightings noted.
They asked if you could drop a poster in to them and they will keep a look out. Let me know if you are able to and if not I will take them one tomorrow.

I have had 3 possible sightings of PADDY in the vicinity of Seacroft Hospital,York Rd,Seacroft,Leeds,Ls14>>2 of them were on fields at Primrose Hill just behind the hospital>>All of these sightings were in the past 2 weeks>>I have been scouring the area for past 4-5days but to no avail so far>>If anybody lives or walks their dog in that area please keep a keen eye out for him>Also on 1 of the sightings 2 RHODESIAN RIDGEBACKS WERE SEEN+FILMED ON CCTV RUNNING LOOSE ON THE GROUNDS OF SEACROFT HOSPITAL BUT NO-ONE COULD CATCH THEM!!!

I spoke with the owner soon after Paddy went missing.
He went missing whilst out on a walk in Roundhay park.
Owner has contacted relevant authorities and had the numbers for the stray kennels.
Will speak to owner again later to check whether there have been any sightings of Paddy reported
Paddy is MICROCHIPPED and if found should be reported to the dog warden as is required by LAW
