Just spoken with Alfie's owners- he is back home safe and sound after 7 weeks away.
He was found wandering over 20 miles away and picked up by the Newcastle dog warden. He was reunited by his MICROCHIP.
Someone has had him during his time away as he had a bad hair cut. He is safe and well and has had a pamper session at the groomers today!
stay safe lovely boy

The owner is going to resend a photo.
Still no news of Alfie.
The owner has noted that posters seem to be being taken down in the Canbois area. He is going to reposter the area.
He is trying for some media coverage.
A reminder that Alfie is MICROCHIPPED and if found he must be reported to the dog warden as is required by LAW or taken to a vets where he can be scanned.
Hoping that there is news of Alfie soon
xx

There is still no word of Alfie but his owners are working hard to raise awareness locally and the police are checking up on any dogs they think could be Alfie. His owner is resending a photo to us Last edited: 2012-05-03 23:35:04 by Jumanji - Co-ordinator.South.Yorkshire

Alfie was taken from his garden at around 12 yesterday afternoon when someone undid the latch on his garden gate. Just after this time a lady was seen a short distance away carrying a small white dog under her arm and she was heading in the direction of the area known locally as Bedlington Station. Alfie's owners are working very hard to find him and are aware that he could be dumped so have been in contact with the dog wardens, local stray kennels and vets. They are busy postering and spreading the word as far and wide as possible. Alfie is MICROCHIPPED and Petlog have been informed and he is flagged up as stolen. Anyone finding a dog is required BY LAW to report this to the dog warden. Hoping that Alfie is back home again very soon xxLast edited: 2012-05-02 19:09:32 by Jumanji - Co-ordinator.South.Yorkshire
