Hi Jo,
Just had a quick look for your email address – remembered I’d sent the pic yesterday (it’s all coming back to me now!)
Attached two pics – one particularly cute one, and another of him sleeping his ordeal off. It must have been so scary for him.
I must say I’m completely overwhelmed at how much everyone got involved – yesterday I was so worried that the combination of living in a semi-rural area and his reluctance to let anyone approach him meant that he could wander for days and starve to death or get shot by a farmer (these things go through your mind) the fact is that there are a lot of good-hearted people out there, pet owners or not – who are willing to put time and effort in to reunite you with your loved one. If it ever happened again (and I sincerely hope that it doesn’t – my nerves couldn’t take it) or happened to someone else, I know that thousands of local people would be on the case – you can’t buy that kind of support!
Thanks again from the bottom of my heart for your help – I’d still be looking otherwise.
