Thank you ALL so very,very much for your help and support.I am thrilled to tell you the news that we have been contacted by a very lovely lady who has our darling boy.He has been cared for and loved by this special lady and her family,and we will be forever thankful that he was found by lovely people.Once again,thank you everyone!!

Am happy to crosspost him on Foal Farm's page again as they are local but if he's been missing since early January he is unlikely to still be at Keston ponds?

I would also contact Friends of Akitas or Akita welfare as they often take in strays from pounds and may have had him in their care, or may still have him in their care.

I'm so sorry to see Kane is missing. Other vets and shelters you may want to try are Pilgrims in West Kingsdown, Pennards in Sevenoaks and Borough Green, and the Sevenoaks Veterinary Surgery (that is also of the same group as the Meopham and Swanscombe surgeries), Battersea at Brands Hatch, the RSPCA at Leybourne, Viking Oak in Borough Green and Last Chance at Edenbridge. I hope he's found soon.

Have you rung woodlands kennels as that is where most strays end up.

Whereabouts exactly was Kane lost? In the Green St Green area or more actually at the ponds?

Thank you all for your help.We have approached Foal Farm but they did not have any record of an Akita there,and we rang local vets but they had not seen him,but we will keep on trying them.Thanks again for all your support,it has given us more hope of finding our lovely boy.
