I have only just got Meg back after a 23 day stint she settled in a hay barn at the rear of Wepre Woods, nice and quiet, the fields are full of rabbits for feeding at night and the woods provide shelter and a water source, would she know Wepre Park at all, everyone seemingly knew about Meg it may be worthwhile putting some posters up there as a lot walk & drive from Hawarden through to the woods. I will print off some posters at work and ask them to put a few up and also I will mention it to the rangers. Where was her last sighting?...xxx

Will have more time at the weekend to help again! Fingers crossed she's back home with you soon. Have you scent marked the area, left items of clothing etc. She'll be hungry so will seek out food. Have you postered local pubs etc... places where she might be drawn to? Have other local farmers been made aware she's lost?

Have shared with both the dog club facebook page and my own and e-mailed the details to friends living in that area, if there is no joy by Sunday I will print some posters off for the dog club, fingers crossed she is found safe and sound very soon.

Hi Debbie
Thank you so much for helping search for Lottie,
She was last seen in station lane having crossed the golf course (we live on a farm the other side of the golf course just down from the castle) there are posters in both post offices the garage at dobshill and via email to the golf course the shared olive the dentists etc. No sightings as yet :o(
Debbie
Hi, any updates on Lottie? Had a walk around the castle last evening, but nothing. Coundn't see any posters in local shop windows but maybe I missed something?
Debbie
That's really helpful info,I know the area well. I'll take a look around the castle area this evening. Lotties poster is being shared around my facebook contacts etc. Assume the golf club have been notified so all golfers can be on the lookout?

I received an email this morning from the GSP group with the following info from Lottie's owner:

"Our two GSP bitches (4 yr old bitch and 10 mth old bitch) were accidentally let out yesterday when a midwife visited the house, they took off and were sighted near the village of Hawarden approx. 1mile away and shortly after the older bitch returned home without the young bitch.
The area they were loose in was open fields / golf course with residential boundaries - we’ve combed every inch of the fields over the last 30hrs in case she was injured in woodland, but to no avail.
We’ve contacted all local relevant organisations, vets, businesses, network rail, you name it. We’ve got posters every where imaginable, online posters via facebook & twitter.
The longer she’s missing the more I fear she’s been stolen.
She’s wearing a chain collar with my number & email on it, as well as being chipped.
if you have any advice or suggestions on further groups to contact to circulate her details would be gratefully received"

I hope he doesn't mind this being put on here but I figure the more info local helpers have the better.
Debbie
Shared on facebook. Let's get this gorgeous girl home.
